Mets are treating Matt Harvey how they treated Johan Santana. Give him no run support and blow his great outings when he leaves the game.
I remember same conditions for Johan in Minnesota. Nathan did a pretty good job of closing it down after Johan exited, but I remember always being very annoyed with Gardenhire and his unwillingness to let Johan go the full 9. Both years that he won the Cy Young, he only had 1 CG in each of those seasons. You'd think he would have more...He should've.

Johan was a special pitcher. Sucks injuries ending his career early. Loved watching him. Was ecstatic when we got him. Brilliant pitcher amazing change up.

I parked right next to the stadium for a dollar :pimp:

and fools pay $20+ to park in private owned lots

$1 for parking :wow: damn.

I wouldn't even dare drive to Yankee Stadium. Train is the only way I get to the Bronx. It is nice driving to Citi Field though the few times I've been there.

The city has metered parking on the streets and it's free after 6, so you just have to pay till 6 and you're good for the rest of the night.

People not familiar with downtown don't even know it exists, so going to school down there has its perks

Guys, today is the 11th anniversary of a no hitter I threw :pimp:

Oh and some dude named Randy Johnson threw a perfect game on the same day

Citi is a 10 minute drive from my crib. Super easy. Usually try and find a spot right around the block from the park but haven't been lucky past two times.

It's gotta feel good throwing a no no.

ESPN lists Matt Harvey at 217 pounds

Dude is fat as ****...I'd be surprised if he was less than 250.

*He's a beast tho

man i was about to say "hold up stadium parking is one dollar :wow: !?"

theres always open meter spots available? those spots would never be empty in LA

Coliseum Bart Station is free most nights and its next to Coliseum Parking lot

no lot security, or no lot closing time? must be nice

at Dodger Stadium you can park in the unincorporated area around the park for free, me and my boys used to do it...

...but it required a short hike up a 35 degree incline into the stadium :x

I usually park my car on Northern Blvd near 111 st where Spanish delis are around. The No Standing sign goes from 7 am to 7 pm on weekly days. From I see, I always found an open spot there. It takes only 10-15 min walk away from Citi.

i come up from roosevelt usually so i make that left right before the ball park and just try to find something around that holiday inn. love it when i find a spot since literally, it makes going home so much easier. walk out of the stadium to my car and then jump back on roosevelt and get to the crib in 10 minutes.

Ah, gotcha. My friend lives near Citi. Sometime, I park the car at his house. I live in Brooklyn. It takes me 30-40 mins to drive there. There's always traffic on Van Wyck Expressway. :smh:
