Totally skipping AAA? Sounds like the Astros are ready to cut the fat off this roster.

Also Draft tonight. :pimp:. Predicting Rodgers at 2 and Tucker at 5 for the Astros.

McCullers never made a start in AAA either.

They just can't keep sending Obie and Carmona out there every 5th day. They don't even give us a chance lol

And on the draft, I'm fine with Bregman or Rodgers. I prefer Bregman cause of the college history and he's closer to the majors, but I'd be fine with Rodgers.

I initially said I wanted Fulmer with the 5th pick, but now I'm fully onboard with Tucker. I was watching some his highlights on YouTube, and I was telling my friends his swing looks like Ted Williams. They all told me I was ******ed :lol: then I heard Peter Gammons say the same thing on TV yesterday and other MLB executives agree with him :lol:

Jew would you say Tucker reminds you of a Shawn Green/Luis Gonzalez type of player? From the video I watched he seems like he can be a doubles machine.

Sale vs McCullers tonight should be fun.
 
I am glad that there's no Mets game tonight so I can watch Astros game and RAW at the same time. :lol:
 
Dope stuff ^ buddy of mine from high school and college got drafted a few years ago but it didn't work out for him :smh: weird how the game works.

Wish the Mets didn't sign Cuddyer and had that 14th pick. Much rather have Garrett Whitley in the farm system than 2 years of major league Cuddy.
 
Making it in baseball is so hard, hopefully he kept his connects inside the game and got a position somewhere in baseball.

One of my good friends/teammates got drafted in the 8th round by the Royals our senior year but decided to go to USC (Gamecocks) and didn't get along with the coach only to end up getting drafted by the Royals again in the 21st round last year. Lost a lot of money, but he's killing it so far in A ball.

That drop off sucks, hope he keeps raking though.

Yeah I haven't kept in touch with this kid since we graduated. I was at the Apple store one day and I ran into one of the team managers we had at school and he told me the deal. Was pretty shocked how things ended up. Used to get scouts at his games all the time in high school.

Chris Archer is a stud man. Gonna win Cy Young this year.
