Mariners should consider a firesale. Problem is, your two most valuable guys, Felix and Seager, should be untouchable. So really, the only asset they have is Nelson Cruz. So, Mariners should trade Nelson Cruz.

I'm not there yet. I'm in the opposite camp. I think they've gone this far with what they tried to build that they might as well trade all they have in the farm system for Tulo or something. Give the fans false hope for maybe even one more season after this. Might as well go down in a blaze of glory and give one last chance of hope before another 13 years of not making the playoffs.

If they went after a Hamels or a big pitcher that could be enough to get things going. Get a couple of consistent hitters in that lineup that don't strikeout and have high OBPs. I've really become a fan of Josh Reddick. Doesn't strikeout often, does his job. Similar to Matt Carpenter in that he's a blue collar hitter that just goes to work each day and makes the most of it.

Tulo was just a name to fill a void. I wouldn't be smart, but rational thinking is gone for me and this team at this point. I'd prefer Goldy, but who wouldn't?

I hate his swing, I don't hate Harper. I think he's a good player. If he becomes a Yankee like half of NT thinks for some reason, I'll still hate his swing. Cano left my team and is now a Mariner, I still love his swing. I'm also a huge Adam Jones and Manny Machado fan and they play in my division.

Very annoying. A few years ago there was such an influx of casual football fans posting that crap in the NFL thread and everyone cracked down on it big time by posting the link to the fantasy thread.
Still happens from time to time, but not as bad.
