This Dodgers trade has become a cluster****:
#Braves lefty Alex Wood would go to #Dodgers if three-team deal with #Marlins is completed, sources tell me and @jonmorosi.
— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) July 30, 2015
#Braves reliever Jim Johnson also would go to #Dodgers, sources tell me and @jonmorosi. Morse and compensation pick would go to #Braves.
— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) July 30, 2015
If the Braves deal w/ the Marlins and Dodgers is completed, Jose Peraza, Jim Johnson and Alex Wood could all be included.
— Mark Bowman (@mlbbowman) July 30, 2015
As mentioned by @Joelsherman1, addition of Wood/Latos might not be end for #Dodgers. Could flip Wood in deal for Price or Hamels.

hector olivera is being sicussed heavily in potential dodgers braves deal
— Jon Heyman (@JonHeymanCBS) July 30, 2015
Dodgers-Braves-Marlins deal if it goes down involves Avilan, Wood, Latos, Morse, Olivera, Peraza #braves #Dodgers #marlins

Nice move. Not sure if he's the "big" bat to put y'all over the top. Cespedes or Upton would've had me worried.

If we continue to have 3-5 hitters on the DL all the time then they got a shot now, otherwise we still got it fairly easy

He'll definitely be a sparkplug and provide energy, that's for sure. Probably homers against us this weekend with all the adrenaline he'll have.

they're only a game back how do you have the division "easily"?
And we've been a game back without Wright, D'Arnaud and an offense that had been averaging 2 runs a game. Dude is delusional  Ain't nothing easy about this division.

#HARPGOD just hit an absolute moonshot.

I am not sure what the statcast will be on that but you can't convince me that was not a 500 ft home run. He hit it 2/3 of the way up the upper deck and that thing was still going STRONG. One of the hardest hit balls I've ever seen.

Our injuries have been much worse

Hopefully Strasburg comes back firing.

Gonna be fun in September.

Can someone make me feel better about this Gomez trade. Coming from someone who loves the brewers but doesn't pay enough attention to the league to know any prospects unless its obvious.

That was my favorite brewer of all time. I'm wearing his jersey forever. Super sad.

I thought Mets were expecting a big upside in Wheeler?

Anyways that's a good trade

Better to trade him now while he still has projected value coming off of TJS.

Gomez should be a help to them, but I think they got the wrong CarGo though. Wonder what it would have taken to get Upton or Cespedes. And wonder why not get Parra over Gomez.

If you get more than 150 innings a year from Wheeler, it worked out well for both sides. If not, sorry papi.

Gomez isn't a rental. The price for the others was probably on the same plane and Sandy went with the guy he'd have a 1.5 of team control over 60 games.

Good point. Not sure of Parra's contract situation, so maybe they went with Gomez more for team familiarity.
