The Jung Ho Kang thing is the one the that I really despise about baseball.

baseball players are so insecure about the inherit softness of their sport they feel the need to add in all these superfluous pissing contest elements, like sliding at acl's, throwing 95 mph projectiles at peoples heads and collisions.


If all these elements disappeared tomorrow no one would care. They are non essential garbage used to aussauge baseball players fragile sense of manliness.
 
No one slides at acl's to hurt people or look manly they do it to break up a double play and keep their team's inning alive.

why don't you just tackle them then? why don't you just punch them in the face? that could break up the double play a swift two piece.

What fake tough guy stuff is sliding into someone so they have to jump over you and make a weaker throw? You want them to walk into second base and shake the opponent's hand?

I want them to try and get to the base not the other gvuys acl's. novel concept I know.

If there allowed to slide at my knees in an attempt to trip me, cna't the fielders just trip the base runners as they round the base? can't let them just take the base.

its not a contact sport. allowing contact in these very specific and isolated scnarios makes no sense.

Miami just walked the bases loaded again(at least this time it appeared to be an accident).

Miami is serving up help on a silver platter, Nats must be living right.

Angels getting hot while Astros and Twins are doing pretty bad down the stretch. And dont forget CLE, BAL, and LAA
