Biggest moment of Bautista's professional career, and this idiot Dyson wants dude to act like he's been there before? Get outta here.

This is EXACTLY why I'm all for any player who rustles the jimmies of someone with an "old school" approach.

Sam Dyson is a baby back *****. I hope he gives up three run bombs for the rest of his life.

idk who to root for in the alcs. used to like the royals before they turned heel and became idiots. i like a few players on the jays, but them poutine eating, milk bag drinking, bottle throwing hillbillies piss me off.

I don't care for unwritten rules, but he went over the top. Don't stare me down and then toss your bat. If they were real, the benches would have cleared before he could have touched home plate. You're entitled to feel how you want.

Sam Dyson should stop whining
Bautista wouldn't have been able to celebrate if Dyson didn't throw that piece of turd pitch

How was it over the top? It's Game 5, and Bautista just hit a big homer to break open the game for his team
I would rather see passion than a bunch of robots playing baseball

Dude just hit the biggest homer of his career though and the biggest for Toronto in over 2 decades with emotions running high after the craziest inning ever...cut him some slack

.

I can almost bet that Dyson would've been fist pumping and yelling had he struck him out

4 year old bat flip > Joey Bats bat flip. IMO

But Joey has the MLB title at least.

Love the pic of Bautista's bat up there with Schwarber's ball.

Dyson was just salty and butthurt about it. He was acting off emotions. He was going after Encarnation even though he was trying to help his cause by calming the crowd

He wouldn't have been able to celebrate if Elvis Andrus did his job as he is greatly paid to do. I don't have a problem with a flip. What Bautista did wasn't a flip.

That's on the Rangers for choking once again...

Any difference between that toss and Cespedes's flip?

Didn't see all this outrage over that one

That emphatically? I love them too and they get people talking about the sport.

F the "unwritten rules",not everyone plays the same way .

You should see bat flips in Japan/Korea . They've made it an artform

not always as emphatically but he stares down every bomb  i like the emotion i mean why not.

Bat tosses never bothered me. It brings more attention to the game, the unwritten rules and old school way makes the game boring. I know Bautista's bat flip and stare down were over the top but hey everybody still talking about it and that's good for baseball. In the NFL you can't even really celebrate after scoring a TD w/o being fined or getting a penalty. I hate that, its almost robotic not being able to show emotion.

IMO, for something to be "over the top" in an instance like this, it has to be premeditated. What Bautista did was get caught up in the emotion of the moment. Sometimes you just blank out...I'm certain that's what happened.

He's got a rep...he whines...etc. As an O's fan, I don't like the guy. However, for 20 seconds last night, I was a fan of his.

That being said, he's gonna have a huge bullseye on his back going forward. I'm not talking about getting beaned. But you best believe that more batters will take the opportunity to show up the Jays pitching staff from here on out.
