Minnesota Twins are 4-8.

Joe Mauer sent to the DL.

Not optimistic times in Minneapolis....

They're talking about expanding it to foul balls on the line among other things.

I think that's stupid... What if there's people on the bags? THEN what?

#%## replay

562....Im totally with you. I am pretty anti-replay as well. I just personally would have no problem if replay is expanded to plays at home plate, and thats it. I really dont see the downside in this aside from the time it would take to review the plays.

I look at it this way.

As much as we want them to be, the athletes are not superhuman, incapable of making mistakes. Their judges should not be, either.

Leave it be. All of it.

I look at replay as something that could mess with pitchers. They can't really afford to sit around much if there multiple replays in a given game. Slippery slope you start dealing with.

For all of you who are curious, the show The Franchise: A season with the San Francisco Giants on Showtime was awesome. Obviously, I am biased because I am a Giants fan....but it was a very well made show. I just finished the season preview show, and it really was great. For non-Giants fans, think of it like a Hard Knocks. They havent done a 49ers one, and I love that show. You guys should give it a shot if you got a chance.

Great show.

I'm against adding more uses for replay in baseball.

I'm ok with it now for homerun calls. There were times last season and in '09 during Giants games when homeruns would be reviewed and there wasn't enough evidence to change call the original call. What I think they should do is build more camera's built in favor to take a look at these balls hit to provide conclusive evidence if the ball left the park or not.

would not mind actually if replays covered HR calls, fair/foul balls, and if a runner was safe
but NFL style challenges with 1 challenge per game
or 2 per game but you have to get the first one right to get the 2nd

I'm REAL pissed at Pie. You do what you gotta do to score that run. Why *%@!% foot around Joba? Terrible base running...

What's up with the league-wide attendance? I'm seeing more empty seats at the Yank stadium than ever before

than Boston and both Chi teams have horrible attendance for their payroll. Is this something the league should be concerned about?
