I just can't understand how that got called an infield fly. There's no way in hell they could have turned a double play off a ball that deep.

They are playing the first two games on the road then the next three at Yankee Stadium. I forgot the MLB's reasoning behind this ,but I agree with you it doesn't make any sense since they are higher seed
 
As far as the home/road thing...I believe it's only for this year. Since the new wild card changes were approved during the season, MLB didn't want traveling issues affecting teams or something like that.

Division winners still get to set their rotation w/ the extra days off.

Baseball is all about series'. If nothing else and MLB needs two wild cards, give them a 3 game playoff. But the one game thing doesn't do it for me. That St Louis game was great to watch as a causal fan. Unfortunate fans turned like that but very few cities wouldn't do that

exactly, they should be at a disadvantage to begin with.

I love the one game playoff, makes for an exciting race to the end.

I'd be in favor of a 3 game series for the Wild Card series.

My brother is on the grounds crew for the Braves and he said it was wild out there. Shoes thrown, beer, ketchup, mustard, etc.

He told me there were fans out there saying "If you're a real Braves fan you wouldn't pick the trash up" :rofl:
