the wbc is a joke, nothing more than a global marketing gimmick by mlb. romo is also 100% american, but playing for mexico...

and mexico just got smacked down by italy...a team that is made up of all americans, except like one guy. the wbc is really designed for the ignorant fan, after all, it is just meant to be a promo for the real product.

WBC isn't what it could be since so many players are afraid of getting hurt but it isn't a gimmick. USA just isn't that good.
