point being, he might not win the triple crown because chris davis is dropping bombs left and right laugh.gif

but the triple crown isn't a little overrated? grin.gif

The triple crown is 3 arbitrary numbers that show nothing other than old school baseball thought.

Leading a league in BA/HR/RBI is still impressive, but none of Cabrera's totals from last year have any historical significance alone.

Like I was telling some Met fans, you really watch the development of Scherzer and hope that Wheeler gets the opportunity to go that same route. They are pretty identical with how they came out and what their struggles are. He's the best case scenario. Always thought Arizona messed that trade up. To get IPK?

Arizona has proven they don't know what they're doing by getting rid of Bauer and Upton lol

They seriously just didn't fell like waiting for him and wanted someone more MLB ready. I get that. But for IPK and Edwin Jackson? IDK man laugh.gif but hey, who knows if Max would have changed his mechanics the way he did in AZ. That trade was always just a boggling one to me but hey, we got Curtis I can't complain laugh.gif

Since some people are talking about broadcasters, there's no way any team has more than the Reds, right? Whenever you tune in to the radio or tv you have know idea who your'e going to get.
Marty Brennaman, Thom Brennaman, Chris Welsh, Jeff Brantley, Jim Kelch, George Grande, and Sean Casey.

El Toro.

Only thing Cole is lacking as an elite pitcher is K's.

Ibanez gunnin' for Teddy Williams for most HR's at the age of 41.

13 shy of setting the record.

Desmond is finally living up to his potential, I love it. Him and Anthony Rendon are raking right now smokin.gif I gotta admit though that his defense is my favorite part of his game. Dude has range for days and an absolute cannon of an arm.

Perhaps one of my newer favorite players in the game.

Him and the Pirates are the reason he'll possibly never be an elite pitcher. He has not made a positive step IMO since he got drafted.

Funny how pitchers don't develop in systems, and the Cardinals can turn basically anyone into a quality pitcher lol

Went to the Nationals game today. Nats let the Rockies jump out to a large early lead and Ross Detwiler looked shaky.  Lots of fans started leaving halfway through and so they missed out on the comeback the Nats put together that fell just short.  Rendon continued to impress which was good and De La Rosa got the win for one of my fantasy teams.

Haren is trash...hopefully Ross can get his confidence back
