Just read Kemp had words with Quentin by the busses after the game.

Due to the injury, we might have another dust-up the next time they play.

Quentin wont be playing the next time the Dodgers and Padres play. He will be suspended for at least 5 games, and the 6th game would be the last game of the Dodgers series. Even if he isnt suspended longer than the 5th game, I bet you the Padres hold him out of the game.

lol nothing was gonna happen till greinke ran his mouth... LOL @ greinke for throwing down his glove like he was gonna inflict some damage hahahahaha. If anything greinke asked for it...

Saw 42 last night.

If you are looking for a feel-good movie, than watch it. If you are looking for an accurate, well done biopic, skip it.

Then again, how can you even call it feel-good when Branch Rickey said multiple times to Jackie that "baseball is a business", almost getting the feel that he couldn't careless to give Jackie, a black man, an opportunity, but just cared for Jackie, the ballplayer.

in before, "poor old don zimmer"...that fat old dinosaur had it coming.

there should have been two brawls yesterday. scheppers hit morse in the wrist, then beaned him in the back on the next pitch, i believe. if there was a time to rush the mound, that was it.

I thought the same thing. Granted, it was Morse's own fault that he was plunked with the first one, as he started his swing. But two consecutive pitches? I thought for sure something would happen.

 of course (Via Deadspin)

Earlier:
MLB Pays For Biogenesis Evidence -- Thwarted at every turn, MLB has resorted to opening its checkbook. The New York Times reports that baseball has paid a former Biogenesis employee to supply them with clinic documents, an ethically iffy move that pushes this whole thing squarely into the realm of farce. Giving it a final shove, at least one player named in the records has reportedly also purchased documents, with the intention of destroying them.

And later:
Now come a pair of reports that the player in question was...well, there was never any doubt. Both the Times and the Daily News, apparently citing the same MLB sources, claim that Alex Rodriguez bought incriminating Biogenesis documents, either through a former employee or a mysterious middleman that had offered them for sale to players and media outlets.

What exactly did Rodriguez do with the evidence? The Times says he destroyed it all.

Rodriguez's camp has already issued a denial

for A-Rod's sake I hope this isn't true because if it is it's just ridiculous and pathetic.

How can so much nonsense happen to one player in such a short period of time??

Carlos Quentin owes Clayton Richard a steak dinner. Quentin is not about that life, and nobody messes with the Bison.

What? Carlos Quentin is a beast. He would have made Matt Kemp's shoulders clap.

In football his senior year, he was selected First Team All-County, All-CIF, and All-Western League, and was named Western League Defensive Player of the Year as an outside linebacker.

Eh...I'll take Quentin.
