Meh. He was given chance after chance here and couldn't ever string anything together...

Happy for him cuz he's a good dude, but he had exhausted every opportunity he was going to get here. Still not convinced he's much more than Carlos Pena long term, but we'll see. Not that that's bad, but I think he's playing over his head at this point.

Two things:

1. I'm sorry Nats fans have to listen to F.P. Santangelo.

2. I'm sorry Nats fans have to watch Dan Haren.

Good article on Crush Davis from Grantland...this was written a few weeks ago:

O's offense is SICK. Just need to tighten up the starting pitching. I expect them to make a big move before the deadline to add a TOR starter.

Cliff Lee :nerd:

Two things I'll give F.P. Santangelo....1) he's better than Dibble. 2) he's got a good looking wife.

FP isn't bad at all.
FP has a good story from his mediocre playing days every once in awhile, but that's about all he brings to the table. Him and Carpenter just spew the company positive bull**** no matter how bad the team is doing. It's annoying to listen to every single day/night. FP was only a fill in broadcaster for the Giants so I can see why you don't think he's not bad. He's okay to listen to if you have to only hear him every once in awhile, but if you hear him every game he gets kind of irritating.

Opposing pitchers are hitting .318 off Dan Haren this year. Opposing teams have an .888 OPS against him.

F.P. isn't bad at all....only downfall is that he's ALWAYS positive.....O's broadcast team is hot garbage

 Gary Thorne has a great voice and isn't a complete homer like most teams announcers. Thorne is good, but he's helped by the fact that Jim Hunter/Jim Palmer/Mike Bordick are so terrible. The Nats radio guys are unreal :smokin would rather have them broadcast on MASN

thank god the Jays are starting to turn it around...

whether it's too late is another question.

Good to see Jose Reyes coming back this wk tho

[table][tr][td]
Longoria absolutely owns Sabathia. Not sure if these numbers are already included or not, but he has homered, doubled, been IBB'd today too.

IBB'd to load the bases to face Wil Myers... and of course he hits a grand slam lol

If you guys want to listen to the absolute worst broadcast team watch an Angels game. As if watching them this year isn't torture enough, they trot out Victor Rojas and Mark Gubizca.

Rojas is just behind Joe Buck in the list of ******* broadcasters who think they know everything.

Gubizca isn't THAT bad but he's still not good. Every other sentence is "you gotta think along the lines of...."

Give me Physioc and Rex back. Rex might've been an idiot but he was an entertaining idiot. I catch myself watching Royals game on MLB.tv just to hear those two call the game

P.J. Walters' outing against the Indians: 0.2 innings+ (46 pitches, 18 strikes), one hit, six earned runs, five walks, zero strikeouts, hit batter.

Hey, I knew that without the spoiler.

Yeah, Player B has been good for a few minutes. It's the "third guy" on that staff I'm having more of a hard time believing is as good as he's pitched so far.
