Some Twitter baseball accounts were noting that it was the Cubs drumming up Oakland interest. Glad to help get the Rangers fleeced. Adding Anderson in September will be enough to hold them off.

Not a bad deal for either side on the Garza deal. Grimm is a decent enough 4 or 5... Olt is a nice reclamation project, maybe a change of scenery will serve him well. And Edwards apparently has lots of upside, but young low-level pitchers are always lottery tickets.
A solid back-end starter and two lottery tickets with great upside... Not bad.
If the Rangers want this to be worth it, they have to bring in at least one more (maybe even two) legitimate bat and pray Nelson Cruz doesn't get hammered in this mess now that Braun got whacked.

Braun, even with assistance, should've never received that award in the first place. Matt did it with probably one of the worst Dodger teams I've ever seen assembled, no protection. Oh, but the Brewers made the playoffs,

The Braun suspension has nothing to with the 50-100-lifetime offenses.

Ryan Braun had his best power season in his rookie year and has declined ever since, so unless you believe he has been using roids since he came out of the minor leagues what did steroids really do for him?

It feels good to have extra energy doesn't it? There's a whole industry that legally pounces on that feeling, if only there were things to aid in recovery and give you a boost of energy. Hmmmm.
