Because I firmly believe that Ryan Braun will continue to rake next season like he always does. My team sucks and I am not in contention. I just traded three non-keepers for a top 10 (modestly) player. I know theres some chance involved, but Im willing to take it.

If the league was set up differently, please believe I would have asked Pro for a couple draft pick upgrades too.

If you are interested in trading a superstar for depth, get at me!

MLB network is killing me showing this Reds and Padres game. Just wanna see some highlights and get caught up on today's action. I REFUSE to watch anything on ESPN other than actual games.

The Pirates have been bad for so long and with the recent second half meltdowns, I'm having a hard time accepting that they're actually good haha

But seriosuly, how much longer are Liriano and Locke going to continue to dominate?

Ned Colletti's 3 year deals are ridiculous. Hoping for Wilson to be useless isn't.
 
A-Rod, Eight Others To Be Suspended This Week

Major League Baseball has informed the MLBPA that they plan to suspend Alex Rodriguez and eight other players this week, according to a source.


Most of the players will be suspended for 50 games, but some -- including Rodriguez -- face stiffer penalties for lying to investigators or interfering in baseball's year-long Biogenesis investigation.

I really wanted the o's to go for peavy now Boston may take the lead back and never let go.

White sox are doing a good job rebuilding, offload the big contracts with the 30+ yo players. I can see Dunn gone today too

So much for the 2nd half meltdown so far...taking the first 3 out of a 5 game series vs one of the best teams in baseball, 5 straight vs them and 7-3 in our last 10 is a good start to the 2nd half imo.

its not tge same team the past 20 seasons and it shows the last few years getting better each time

Why wouldn't they continue to dominate?

Everyone is different and I cant tell one person how to root for their own team.  But I find it utterly ridiculous that someone is rooting for a player on his own team to fail.  What if he blows two games and you miss the playoffs by one game? 

Its always team first for me.  I guess thats not the case for everyone though.
 
Nelson Cruz is going to be hit with a 50 gamer today... Unless the Rangers can swing a deal for two bats, I just don't see the need. One bat might not have been enough WITH Cruz...

If you can get two, have Cruz serve his 50 and be back if you make the playoffs... Ok.
