Interesting stat, Kershaw is 49-0 in his career when he gets 4+ runs, think about that.

Honestly, that number doesnt impress me all that much.  For someone as good as him, that should be expected.  For comparisons sake, Barry Zito is 110-6 when getting 4 or more runs of support.

If you are a top pitcher, and your team gives you 4 runs of support, you should win the game.  Period. (And please save your "Giants fan" related comeback.  That is not at all what this is about.)

Dickey led the National League in quality starts (27), strikeouts (230) and innings pitched (233 2/3) while finishing second in ERA at 2.73 to Kershaw's 2.53, the 20 wins was just a bonus considering how awful the Mets were last season. Could've gone either way but he deserved it.

Dont see Harvey winning this season unless he continues on this 2nd half run, at one point Harvey had 7 no-decisions or losses this season (non-wins) in games in which he allowed one run or fewer, and 3 games throwing a no hitter after 7 innings. :smh:

So far Harvey leads baseball with a .86 WHIP and 178 K's despite pitching 12 innings less. Kershaw has him on ERA so far. Pretty close race.

Yankees fans are some of the biggest frauds and emotional wrecks on the planet and this is coming from one of them  A-Rod won them a WS and they still booed him the next year. They've booed Jeter before

I'd like to see W/L for JV, Yu, Felix, Wainwright when getting four or more runs.
They have to be ridiculous!

Like I alluded to in my previous post, if an elite pitcher is given 4 or more runs of support, he should win the game.  Look at Zito's career numbers when given that amount of runs.

Kuroda is having a good year too. Only 29 bb 2.33 era. 40 er that's less than Felix and scherzer

Wieters just went yard. Surprised it seems like there's more o's fan than Arizona fans at chase field

And to be honest with you, I picked the wrong vice. I should have picked alcohol. I should have picked drugs or I should have picked up beating up my wife or girlfriend because if you do those three, you get a second chance. --Pete Rose

Thinking out loud but any chance the Dodgers would move Kemp in the offseason or nah?
One of Crawford, Kemp, Ethier will be gone this offseason. The amount of money owed to them is pretty steep though.
There is an obvious choice to get rid of out of the three....however I think he might be the toughest of the three to actually move based on the salary to production ratio.

Yea, no one is going to give you much of anything for an overpaid platoon player. Still amazed he got that kind of deal.

Gun to my head, I actually think they'll move Crawford or Kemp. This is going to be a real heavy year of trades in the winter.

Doubt they move Kemp, too much talent, and they will chalk this up to him not being 100% healthy. Right now they have the luxury of an extra outfielder, so even though he wants to be in the lineup, he is being held up. Team is piling up wins, no need to rush back.

They're going to move Ethier, and eat a ton of salary while doing so.

Dodger fans with knowledge of the game would tell you they are not shocked. Typical Ned Colletti move, rewarding players for past performance, :smh:. Luckily this team can afford to absorb albatross contracts at this point.

If they move anyone, it's gonna be Ethier and they'll pay however much of his contract it takes to move him.

Getting draft picks or prospects for Ethier would be great.

Anyone doing the 1 day beat the streak? Pick 57 players to get a hit and you can win 5.6 million. Have to sign up before 4 pm ET
