Guess we will be watching a cardinals red sox world series

i prefer world series' that showcase teams of the 'og 16' anyway, all the more classic...

and plus - these 2 teams actually have rich world series history together (a chance for red sox redemption has been in order since my parents generation)

Agreed completely. After game 2 it was evident that bullpen can't be trusted in a close situation.

Congrats to the Red Sox and their fans. They've been an amazing team all year. We arguably had the best SP lineup, this year. Doesn't help when you have the worst bullpen, though. Hoping Prince Fielder isn't on this team, next year.

Every year there's a team with the "it" factor and I think Boston definitely has it.

I was listening to the local sports radio and they were talking about how the Red Sox looked specifically for character guys that had a reputation of being team players and good clubhouse guys to build good team chemistry while constructing this team. They were laying out all these baseball intangibles teams like the red sox and A's use to build teams with amazing chemistry. Thought it was pretty interesting because it made it seem like there's a formula to this team chemistry stuff.

Congrats to the DS, AIF & the Sox fans who actually showed their face last year, instead of popping up in the postseason great year for them but I pray the Cards win.
