I would like Pence or Quentin and would give up Mike Minor plus others. I don't view Minor as a #1 or 2 starter that the Braves do.

I want nothing to do with him if it requires any of the Indians' top four (which it of course would). Way too many concerns.

You're talking about Ubaldo right? I know what you mean but (maybe this is the homer in me trying to rationalize it) I can see what some people still see. Loss in velo is a concern but for the most part, his underlying numbers have always been pretty consistent and he's been good since June. I just think a lot of folks dump on him because they expected him to keep up those first half numbers. I don't feel all that great about him coming to YS but it's become painfully obvious that they are unwilling to give Montero a shot (which they'll regret right away) and I'm OK with giving up Betances instead of Banuelos. Steep price but it's mostly for his contract.

Yankees would be smart to go for Kuroda instead of Jimenez. I'm sure Cashman has the same questions regarding Ubaldo as the rest of us; violent delivery, fleeting command, loss of velo, probably not the ideal guy for the AL East at that price. I really think Cashman is waiting for a top of the line starter to become available, whereupon he gives up the farm. Another year of futlity in Seattle may loosen the Mariners' hand.
One can only hope that this Span for Storen deal happen. Always liked Denard: quality lead off guy, four tools, strong OB numbers, etc.

Just skimming some tweets I saw Sanchez, Betances and Nova and I saw that teams are far apart from what LA wants and what they want to give. They should be lucky people are considering taking that high priced rental TBH.
Singleton got taken out of the game a few mins ago, no injury.
And this is crazy, Andrew Brackman had a no hitter through 4 after walking 9 and throwing 2 wild pitches
