SERIOUS QUESTION. No rivalry or hate.

So when Pineda had pine tar last time, Farrell and Ortiz said it was no issue and they didn't care.

Many analysts and commentators said they didn't care because we've seen their pitches with substances.

So my question is, why didn't they care last time when they knew? Why ask the umps to check now?

Red Sox and baseball fans, feel free to answer.

i think it's like....ok you did it once. it was brought to everyone's attention. whatever. but a second time? and this blatant? c'mon son. pineda has to be dirt dumb

and clay and lester got accused of having stuff on their gloves or hand. but once. the next time, it was gone. pineda clearly gives no dambs

Those are fair points DSA. My man struggled in the first, then comes out with a hershey bar on his neck in the second

Pujols hitting #500 was nice to see. Still hoping he stays healthy and goes back to his st. Louis days.
Quick question, why can't I post in some threads like the post your car for example? Still new to this.

Balfour, former Twin, called upon in the 9th to keep the game tied against the Twins...Yeah, Minnesota gonna get at him.

Agree with the first part. Pujols hitting bombs just seems right. I feel like his hot zone should have always remained like the hot zone images they been showing for MIggy the past couple years (EVERYWHERE!). Still one of the better hitters arounds, but ya know...

Second part, I have no answer for. Sorry.

We all need to do ourselves a favor and record any Dodgers game we can. This may sound weird, but I'm scared of baseball without Vin Scully. Seriously the last of an almost dead breed.

you need a certain amount of post before you can post in general. I also think you have to be a member for at least a month if I'm not mistaken

Vin is the last of that breed. All thats left are the usual hacks and homers.

Too bad im relegated to AM570 and MLB atBat.

Francisco Rodriguez. :pimp: :smh:

I still remember '02 against the Twins in the ALCS. This dude was the ultimate setup man for Percival. Twins could not touch him. Not even close. Had no clue who he was, but I felt he was the next coming of Rivera when Mariano had already been in the league for what seemed like forever.

Damn...Mariano was flippin' amazing.

There's still the TV guys...NL West has that covered fairly well with Miller, Enberg and Scully, but them old school dudes who you'd hear camping our at a barbeque that depicted a paint by numbers picture of the game through a radio dial were the penultimate to our generation. The best though, really.

Baseball >

 I'm sad...Stupid.

That makes sense. Thanks for the replies. What chances do you guys think Pujols has at breaking the homerun record? Im rooting for him. If its not him, it might be a lifetime before anyone does.

No clue. Not even trying to predict this no more. He seemed semi-lost by his standards the last two years, but this start is reminiscent of his STL days. Hell, I thought Jeter was going to break Rose's hit record not too long ago, but **** just happens. I'm all for seeing it though. That's for damn sure.

Right now he's on pace for like 60+ HR's. Obviously that wont happen, but if he manages to hit 40+ and stay healthy all year, I like his outlook. Aside from last year, he was never an injury prone guy, people forget that. His eventual move to DH should also help him stay healthy moving forward.

The way the Braves rotation is pitching right now were sending all 5 pitchers to the All Star Game with Aaron Harang as the starter :pimp:

i think combined the Braves rotation has an era under 1.50 :wow:
