I'm happy for A-Rod in the early going so far. He's looking good, and even though he did the crime, I'm happy he's trying to move past the crime

I don't even care he used steroids... It's the constant lying and blame passing... That's why I hate A-Rod... He's a *****...

You're right. He played pass the buck too many times. And yes he did lie,but who hasn't lied at least once or twice to "cya?" Punk method indeed, but I'm looking past the flaws and thinking about what he's doing on field. I don't support, nor condone cheating, but I'm like this, let's as a people, just leave it alone. It's clear his, records, stats, and legacy are all tarnished. He has to live with his own shame

he's been playing with some oblique soreness, i think he just exasperated it on the swing or something. i wasn't watching the game he got injured. still listed day-to-day but he may see some DL time.

Wanted to comment on this cause we been on the same page all Spring. We've been posting and commenting on so much since the season started.

I think Scully helped do the same for me as I think he's doing for you. I started watching tons of Dodgers games 2 years ago just because of him and listening to his stories and what not reminded again just how much I love baseball. That and Neihaus passing who said you always see something new and unique with each new game has been on my mind the last few seasons. I'm loving baseball again like I did as a kid. pimp.gif

Seriously dude and now that I'm getting into the analytics side of things, it's really making me see the game differently and actually focus more on the intricacies than the way I used to watch games. Love this sport laugh.gif

I haven't delved too much into that from a numbers standpoint, but the intricacies is always something I've appreciated about baseball. The game within the game, if you will. More so from a philosophical and strategic standpoint though.

Ain't that the truth. If I have long days at work or in general I always tell my fiancee that I just need to numb out and unwind and watch baseball. It's too perfect how it calms me down and makes me happy. :lol

Intriguing matchup today with Sale vs. Victor Martinez. Read a preview for the game that mentioned how Victor owns Sale and his hitting over .500 against him. No one else is even close. I love professional hitters like Victor.

Huge VMart fan, but I have Sale in fantasy so hopefully VMart goes easy on him. ;)

Good bet on any given day I'd say.

Looks like some of the better known hitters are starting to heat up recently. Freeman in back-to-back games now as well.

Toronto's pen just loves giving up home runs in close games. Goodness.
