Arbitrary law is arbitrary lol

I'm gonna look it up when I get home and see what the legal scholars have to say about it.

I can't see Cliff over Felix but hope he has a comeback season

Don't see Mr. Overrated on this list either
I'm sorry, but this list is RIDICULOUS.

For those who dont want to click the link:

1. Clayton Kershaw

2. Cliff Lee

3. Felix Hernandez

4. Chris Sale

5. Jose Fernandez

6. David Price

7. Hisashi Iwakuma

8. Adam Wainwright

9. Justin Verlander

10. Max Scherzer

This list is a joke, starting at #2.  Cliff Lee really shouldnt be on the list.  Neither should Jose Fernandez with his injury uncertainty.  Neither should Iwakuma (and I am a HUGE Iwakuma fan).  And to round out this ridiculous list, Verlander shouldnt be on it either.

Just for fun, here is my list:

1. Clayton Kershaw

2. Felix Hernandez

3. Madison Bumgarner

4. Chris Sale

5. Adam Wainwright

6. Max Scherzer

7. David Price

8. Yu Darvish

9. Johnny Cueto

10. Jon Lester

As you can see by my list, history plays a big role for my rankings (which is why you dont see Corey Kluber, Masahiro Tanaka, etc)

Without looking at numbers, just winging a top 5 off the top my head, with the premise of pitchers I'd want on my team next year:

Kershaw
Felix
Sale
Wainwright
Darvish

I know Bum has very good regular season numbers too, but I'm not rating an incredible post season over a much larger sample size of multiple regular seasons.

Guys get hot in the post season, but IMO that shouldn't outweigh much larger sample sizes.

Edit: Bum is very very very good, I just strongly disagree with that line of logic.

Where'd you guys get that list from with Cliff and Iwakuma? Maybe that's last years list.

The list I just saw had:

1. Clayton Kershaw

2. Felix Hernandez

3. Chris Sale

4. Adam Wainwright

5. Max Scherzer

6. Johnny Cueto

7. Corey Kluber

8. David Price

9. Madison Bumgarner

10. Jordan Zimmermann

They edited the article. That's not the list that was on there a hour ago lol

Brian Kenny on MLBN made the same argument last night.

#Tigers announce Victor Martinez tore his medial meniscus in left knee during workouts last week. Scheduled for surgery with Dr. Andrews.

Lol true

College bball has been boring this year...it got me ready for the baseball season to start

I was assuming the latter but if it's only a month or so that ain't bad at all unless there's some lingering effects. Victor is sorta prone to injury though.
