Wait, Ortiz deserves more respect? You can't be serious. Guy gets mad love and his name isn't brought up enough when you hear about Alex, Manny or the steroid years. He gets a pass for some reason which is complete ********.
MLB ****** him over by revealing his name? It's funny, I don't hear anyone say that about the other players or even Alex. That list was never supposed to come out but MLB ****** over Ortiz and not Alex.

Don't get me wrong. I think MLB steroid witch hunt is ridiculous in general. I think Bonds and Alex have gotten raw deals to come extent.

but the rules are in place now.

The MLB asked the player to submit to drug tests outside the parameters of the CBA so that they could establish the rules. The only reason the players agreed to it is because it was private. It's a completely flagrant disregard of an agreement. If I was Ortiz I would want to sue.

People exaggerate this, he got a full time gig later in his career.

his best year were from 27-30.

Thats pretty much league average, most players throughout history peak at those ages.

Ryan Howard has had a similar career path,/peak years. but no one questions him.

Howard would've been up sooner but he was blocked by Thome. The Phils even thought of playing him in LF but that was a terrible idea. Plus Howard's big downfall occurred after his messed up his achilles.

If anything, Ortiz and DS deserve each other Probably more alike than they realize.

Wash your face=you've made a fool of yourself/ you have "egg" on your face

The "pull your skirt down b" I assume started as a NY thing cuz Cam/Dame were the first dudes I remember using it back in the day

I guess when used in tandem it means you just got ****** but I never remember nobody doin that back then

He was a top 10 guy in the M's farm...solid mid rotation starter potential.

20 years old though
