Yelich has the weakest arm I've ever seen in the Major's.  And that's after his long *** windup.

Bryant up on April 17th.

Missed 8 games. In which we currently sit in first place. Therefore, zero reason to cry that sitting him will cost the Cubs a shot at the playoffs.

Factoring in a minimum of 1 HR every other at bat for Bryant, the Cubs would be undeafted :pimp:

the Kris Bryant hype is gonna be unreal

it'd be a failure of a debut unless he went 3-3 with a HR & 4 RBI's

Baez and Soler both homered right away last year.

Bryant will face James Shields today, we'll see, but I know Theo isn't happy. He always wants the rooks to open on the road, away from the home fans/media/extra pressure so they can get a couple games under their belt.

That's why I had been sayin he would be up April 20th rather than the 17th, but Olt breaking his forearm forced their hand. :smh:

Note, his last at bat at Iowa was a 3 run homer. 9 in the Spring, and 3 in 4 games at Iowa.

If he isn't leading the league by May 1st, he's a bust.

Kris Bryant will succeed. His approach is pretty much everything up the middle which allows him to hit the ball with power to all fields. Helps him stay inside the baseball and let pitches get deep into the strike zone which makes him better at selecting pitches. He has great hands as a hitter. Won't strike out as much as Baez and Soler, being that Kris has a more quiet path through the hitting zone.
