he's been playing with some oblique soreness, i think he just exasperated it on the swing or something. i wasn't watching the game he got injured. still listed day-to-day but he may see some DL time.

Wanted to comment on this cause we been on the same page all Spring. We've been posting and commenting on so much since the season started.

I think Scully helped do the same for me as I think he's doing for you. I started watching tons of Dodgers games 2 years ago just because of him and listening to his stories and what not reminded again just how much I love baseball. That and Neihaus passing who said you always see something new and unique with each new game has been on my mind the last few seasons. I'm loving baseball again like I did as a kid. :pimp:
 
Seriously dude and now that I'm getting into the analytics side of things, it's really making me see the game differently and actually focus more on the intricacies than the way I used to watch games. Love this sport :lol:

yanks did everything to distract him coming into this season and he still playing well.....hopefully he stays healthy

I haven't delved too much into that from a numbers standpoint, but the intricacies is always something I've appreciated about baseball. The game within the game, if you will. More so from a philosophical and strategic standpoint though.

Ain't that the truth. If I have long days at work or in general I always tell my fiancee that I just need to numb out and unwind and watch baseball. It's too perfect how it calms me down and makes me happy.

Intriguing matchup today with Sale vs. Victor Martinez. Read a preview for the game that mentioned how Victor owns Sale and his hitting over .500 against him. No one else is even close. I love professional hitters like Victor.
