Bumgarner on Max Scherzer comments on the DH

"He knew the rules. Whatever much he signed for -- what did he get, again? -- he didn't have a problem signing his name," said Bumgarner, referring to Scherzer's $210 million, seven-year free-agent deal he signed with the Nationals in the offseason. "He didn't have a problem with hitting then. I'm sure he had his pick of anywhere he wanted to go."

They also moved the Tampa series to Tropicana.

Something had to be done or they'd be stuck playing a bunch of doubleheaders in August/September and is a bit unfair.

This Nationals team has NO BALLS. Simmons slides late- cleats up - knocks ball out of mit - cuts Escobars hand- Escobar has to leave game. No one confronts Simmons and i bet there won't be any retaliation. No identity and it shows by their lifeless play on the field. I'm not saying pull a Royals, but show me something.
But then people get mad when you retaliate I'm all for retaliation, as long as it's not near the head

haha he did "retire"

But he was working for USA baseball.

Edit: or at least that's what I remember. Nats fans chime in

He went back to his front office job last season, then decided to officially get outta the game it appears.

Nats taking Ls from all directions. April has been a disaster :smh:
:smh: last few years I've been relying on them for hope. At least the WizKids and Caps are picking up the slack.
