If I heard Michael Kay right just now, first time ever that a game has its two starting RF's by the last name of Young (Chris and Delmon).

That's pretty neat considering Young is such a common last name.

I love things like this. This one is semi-interesting, but I find it crazy how people even know this or find this out. I want the software program that some of these people have to be using in order to come up with this stuff.

Canseco.

Everytime I think of him I think of TMNT.

Well, then I started thinking about when I could use that GIF and thought of Ryan Braun.

Why does he use such a big *** bat?

Speaking of Braun, dude has the most ridiculous batting rounds I've ever seen.

He sprays long line drive homers all over the field :x

In the past 14 innings Torii Hunter raised his AVG from .252 to .300 and his OPS from .679 to .839. Hits in seven straight at-bats vs. CLE.

Joc Pederson leads hitters in average batted ball velocity at 98.54 mph. He also leads hitters in average batted ball distance at 237.06 ft.

http://baseballsavant.com/apps/hit_leader.php?game_date=&abs=25&sort=2,1 (disclaimer, some ballparks dont have this data available)

45.1% of his balls in play are hit hard. Although Pederson has a 33.3 K%, he possesses a .341 BABIP which is impressive. Seems to me he's more than just a HR, K, BB guy.

.368 ISO :x that'll come down but still impressive.
