Like I said earlier, why even risk throwing a ball up and in with 2 outs in the 9th inning with a perfect game on the line? Why didn't the catcher set up on the outside corner and have Scherzer just try to gas him?
Tabata leaned into it, and I have no problem with it. Pitch shouldn't have been anywhere near hitting a batter. Bad pitch.
Scherzer was missing high with his fastball cause he was so amped up so he went to the slider. Didn't break, **** happens. Haven't seen the replay but from the stands it didn't even look like it hit him, just looked like Ramos dropped the ball.Like I said earlier, why even risk throwing a ball up and in with 2 outs in the 9th inning with a perfect game on the line? 6-0 game is mainly why I have a gripe.
Don't know how to embed Vines, but after watching this in slow-mo idk how you can say he didn't lean into it.
Saying he didn't do anything wrong is basically the same to me. 9 times out of 10 that's not called, but it was still bush league.Don't think there has been anyone who has tried to claim that he didn't lean into it.
