If Trout averages 35 homeruns a year for the next 15 seasons, he'll hit at least 651 homeruns in his career. If he drives in 95 runs a season over that time span, he'll end his career with at least 1,789 RBI. If he racks up 170 hits per season over the next 15 years, he'll finish with at least 3,226 hits.

If Trout averages a 7 WAR over the next 15 years, he'll finish his career with at least 140 wins, which is below Bonds' 164.4.

Rangers need to trade Yovani if he's not gonna re-sign... Dodgers/ Toronto offer up

Don't want to see Moreland go

He's gonna muster a Shields like contract I'm guessing... no thanks

But if he averages 40HR, 120RBI 220 hits, and 11 war for the next 30 seasons he'll go down as the best.

Picture how good the supplements will be when Trout is in his late 30's though, I think dude has a chance to at least be second.

Don't see anybody touching Bonds though.

Yall don't have enough room for him though, he should be an everyday player.

Gallo waiting in the wings too.

he is though... takes the load off fielder so he doesn't have to play 1st.

Only reason they'd let him go is he has 1 more year on his deal and this lineup is very left hand heavy

Michael Taylor :pimp:
He's been the best OF in baseball based on UZR. Just needs to work on his plate discipline, and if he can improve it just a tad his comp to Mike Cameron will be pretty accurate.

Ian Desmond went 2/2 with 2 BBs and a steal...world might be ending.

Asterisks these Mets man

did Terry give a reason why Familia didn't pitch
He didn't get him up early enough. And I guess didn't have the foresight to waste time to give Familia the pitches he needed to get loose. Should've sent Plawecki to the mound. Had Parnell stare the runners down, step off the rubber a few times. Send out the pitching coach. Step off the rubber a couple of more times. Then go to the bullpen. But it is what it is. We don't do smart things.

It's sad, we don't play winning baseball.

Looking at the numbers, Mike Leake could be a great pickup for the Dodgers. At Great American Ball Park, his ERA, in 57.2 innings, is 5.46 with nine homeruns allowed—to go along with a .297 AVG and .496 SLG. On the road, in 63 innings, his ERA is 2.57 with five homeruns allowed, with hitters batting .197 and slugging .298. 52.8% of his balls in play are grounders and he's had issues with homeruns, 15.4% of his fly balls are dingers. But you put him in a bigger, more pitcher friendly park like Dodger Stadium, he should really work himself out of that issue and you can get some really quality starts out of him.

Dodgers wouldn't have to trade too much to get him either. Leake and Hamels would be great pickups for them.
