Uribe is a good leader, excellent fielder, good clubhouse guy, but there's no way Sandy can get away with this being his only move. You feel Uribe's impact more on a playoff team like the Pirates or Yankees.

I'm a fan of Uribe's intangibles but Uribe alone isn't what the Mets need. They need a legitimate slugger. Uribe's impact is best for a playoff team not a fringe squad. Adding another bat is still a must if we're gonna make the playoffs.

Our bats with runners in scoring position is horrible, but, we`re on top............Cant complain.
