As astros make a stronger push for hamels, the Phillies scout is watching top prospect nick thompson in frisco. Dude gives up 6 ER smh

Tulo? Can he pitch?

Unless they have other deals in the making, I don't see how this helps them that much.
 
it's not really a lateral move for Toronto since Tulo > Reyes, but this doesn't make them any better than they were 8 hours ago....

if you're trading for a player of his caliber it should put your team over the top, like Cueto to KC

Don't like Reyes that much but I'm gonna miss him.

if you have a chance to acquire a player of Tulos caliber you do it.

people are acting like the Blue Jays can't/won't make any more trades.
 
I love Reyes, but actually I'd say he gets a pass where others don't get off so easy on injuries - because it seems 'nationally' people very much like him.

The way Kieth Law tells it every scout in the organization besides JP wanted Tulo.
 
Toronto needs to make a move for Hamels, or go talk to SD and trade for that Cashner/Ross/Kimbrel package that was floating around.
 
Nick Markakis got a great ovation last night in his return to Baltimore. It was well deserved. One of my favorite Orioles all-time. Bittersweet to see him wearing a different uni, but it was solely a business decision (and the right one by the team). I said it before, but I wish for nothing but the best with him. He's a real good dude.

I was reading that the O's are trying to put together some sort of package for Justin Upton. All I know is that the package better not include Kevin Gausman.
 
I'd buy season tickets if we brought him back. I'd end my boycott that I started the day he wasn't offered a contract. He fills our hole at short, it allows Grandy to bat lower in the lineup, it makes too much sense. Cmon now Sandy do it for the fans.

Rockies would want pitching and probably Flores. I'd give them Wheeler and Flores and move on. Two injury prone players for each other and a bat who would do better in Coors than Citi.

They were already the best team vs LHP but now you basically cannot start a lefty against them.

They got 4 guys with wOBA over .400.
 
Woke up an hour ago and saw the Tulo/Reyes deal. :x Turf is gonna ruin Tulo's career when he plays defense.

They straight up disrespect my dude Jose Reyes. Bring him home, Wlipons.
