Just woke up from a long nap and saw Jay Bruce rumors.

Let me straight. Alderson didn't want to pay Gomez's $9 millions next season but Alderson is interested in Jay Bruce who will make $12 mill a year next season.

Fire Sandy!
and bruce is half the player

with our shaky rotation the starter would only have to go 5 innings to win. hand it over to Warren/Wilson-Kimbrel-Betances-Miller & the game's over.

Only reason why getting Kimbrel would kind of make sense. Especially if you can add Ross or Cashner as well. Maybe even Kennedy.

They were just talking about it on the radio. Yanks still in talks with the padres. kinda hope it's for Tyson Ross and Kimbrel.

Kimbrel gonna have to accept that set up or relief role. He's just not gonna walk in and be the closer when we have 2 pitchers better.

Edit: this kid on the mound ain't so bad and dude who pitched the other day during the blow out in relief too

Kimbrel is the best closer this decade he isn't going to the 7th inning.

We have 2 guys that are doing better and one that's for sure gonna take over that role in the future. He's not getting that spot. Set up man is the closest he'll get in the Bronx. Also probably depends on the lineup.

Kimbrel has dominated the 9th inning for 5 years, Miller and Betances are only now doing well. You don't take Kimbrel and make him the 7th inning guy.

If the Yankees get Kimbrel it's gonna be Betances - Miller - Kimbrel

He started the year terribly and cut his ERA in half and has 5 years of elite dominance on his resume. He's the best closer in baseball.

Astros win :pimp: Kazmir was dominant can't wait to see how Gomez does.

Great emotional call by the Astros TV guy

"High drive, right field...Can he do it? Jason Castro ... He won the game! He won the game in Houston!"

**** Jim Duquette for trading Kazmir
**** Sandy for signing Colon over Kazmir (Colon signed for two years, $20 mill and Kazmir signed for two years, $22 mill) 0]

Can't tell if serious or not...I was listening to the call and thought it lacked the excitement needed. Roar of the crowd sounded great though :smokin
