Just saw this poor soul wearing a Carlos Marmol shirt at the grocery store. He's destined to be a loser.

Kurt Suzuki's first dinger (4) since back on June 20th off of Lester.

All Star last year when he batted .288. Batting .228 now - such a dumb move by the Twins to extend him on July 31st last year through the 2016 season for $6 million per year (with the vesting option for 2017 based on plate appearances) when he had never come close to being a .290 hitter in the past. He'd only ever hit in the .270s twice, and the last time was six years ago now.

Hopefully a .gif is made of Puig's throw to 2nd, but he's got to have the strongest arm in MLB.

Summed up...he barehanded the ball in short right, and fired a laser to 2nd to get the force.

Here we are, 0-12 in our last 12 playoff games going back to 2004.

All 12, against the Yankees.

Terrible game. Had plenty of chances. Tejada double clutches a routine ground ball that allowed the go ahead run to score. Darnaud strikes out three times looking clueless. Wasted that first inning. Better regroup and take tomorrow.

Yanks streaking again :smh: gonna be the death of them. play great for a month then have a losing record for 2 weeks repeat...... Still walking away with the divison.

Mark Zuckerman @ZuckermanCSN
Strasburg's last 4 starts: 3-0, 1.19 ERA, 30 K, 4 BB.

Hope he keeps it up, would be a big boost with Fister being **** this year.

He just gotta stay healthy, he was already rounding into form before his last trip to the DL.

He supposed to be out here being a young ace with Archer/Sale/DeGrom/MadBum/Cole/Jose.

Nats have had the worst injury luck this year.

Strangely enough, we played better without Rendon, Werth, and Zimmerman. Span is the key player we're missing. 35-24 with him, 7 games under .500 without him. Doubtful he's coming back this season.

Span hitting before Bryce was too easy early in the season.
