Donaldson is balling, if you care about defense you can't rank Cruz over him, Trout or Machado.

Trout will be GIVEN the award because people are LAZY.

You realize batting average is as meaningless as wins and losses, right? OBP is what matters. How in the world can someone who isn't an all around player be an MVP on a team that hasn't been in the playoff hunt all year, while two guys with similar stats or better, who play great defense, who are on winning teams, are less worthy of being MVP? Cruz is a slugger and nothing more. Trout and Donaldson are two of the most complete players in the game.

Trout leads Cruz in every category except AVG, but he's just a lazy pick for MVP. Ok. He's the best all around player in the game.

I get that Papelbon is a pretty good closer, but they really should've either gotten an elite closer or added a couple of good bullpen arms for the 7th and 8th. Such a slap in the face to demote Storen who had been great all year for a guy who might not even be better than him.

Agreed. Lateral move at best. Nats should have gotten another bat. The aggressive trades by both the Jays and Mets are paying dividends.

Yep...such a terrible move. Then his father is a helicopter dad so I'm sure his crying affected Storen even more. Oh well...I'm happy for Mets fans since so many are on here. Might put some money on them winning the NL
