Explain to me Houston games are blacked out for me being in OKC, but they have Hou/Sea and LA/OAK on MLB channel, and they give me the LAA/Oak game?

**** you MLB!

Reminds me of the time that I was in Honolulu trying to catch the A's game in 2013 and I was blacked out of that.

MLB Blackout needs to end immediately lol

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Kansas City Royals. 355 miles from Kauffman Stadium
- St. Louis Cardinals. 499 miles from Busch Stadium
- Texas Rangers. 209 miles from Rangers Ballpark in Arlington
- Houston Astros. 447 miles from Minute Maid Park

To prove physical driving distance isn’t part of the equation for blackout restrictions, here’s a look at the teams blacked out in Honolulu, Hawaii  …
- San Diego Padres. Across an ocean from Petco Park
- Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Across an ocean from Angel Stadium
- Los Angeles Dodgers. Across an ocean from Dodger Stadium
- Oakland Athletics. Across an ocean from O.co Coliseum
- San Francisco Giants. Across an ocean from AT&T Park
- Seattle Mariners. Across an ocean from Safeco Field

Yea I heard about that.
I just pulled it up on Firstrow, appreciate it though.

sidenote: When Coco Crisp pinch hits for you, your game is in shambles.
U could also use ZenMate as a extension on Chrome/Firefox
Great VPN, I could watch the local games

Denorfia :smokin met hit when he was on the Potomac Cannons and stood next to him on the field during the national anthem in '03 when I was 9  I remember I always thought he was so great after that. Edwin Encarnacion was on that team too.

Happ and Peavy did their thing (especially Peavy against Greinke :smokin ) but both took no-decisions so I didn't get W points :smh: .

Cody Anderson vs Twins
Madbum vs Dodgers

Obviously starting Bumgarner. Gonna let Anderson roll as well.

Votto has been straight fire. We played a series where I don't know if we got him out a single time. Shame wasted this season on that roster.

I've liked Votto from the moment I heard him make the comment about giving up HR's for the good of getting on base for the team.

When he went ballistic on the Ump for calling bad strikes, I felt like the Ump needed to re-evaluate his life choices going forward.

Can you explain this to me more? How is getting on base better than a home run

Because he gets on base more and hits better when he isn't trying to launch a home run.

He didn't say home runs were worse than base hits

Just because you swing for a HR doesn't mean you get a HR, a good % of the times it ends with a Strikeout or Long PopFly. (Astros)

I can't speak for Votto but logically I would assume that he finds it alot easier to get on base with a Walk or a Hit than to go for the fences, and considering where they put him in the lineup, it fares better for the team for him to concentrate specifically on that.

The comment I was referring to was him saying  'I could lead the League in HR's if my job on the team wasn't to get on base'
