The dude is so far and away better than Dice-K in every facet.. Better stuff. He's not a nibbler. He's confident as @#@* on the mound. He's got command of his pitches. He gives a damn. He's not a doucher in the clubhouse.
He threw a couple of breaking balls tonight that were just unreal.

How did he only finish with nine punchouts when he rung up seven of the first 10?
Speaking of jealousy and that game tonight... Kyle Drabek is putting it together, while Jason Knapp hasn't thrown a baseball in like a calendar year and Carlos Carrasco is also hurt/not good.

After seeing him being like Brian Wilson during the WBC loading the bases up because he wanted to strike everyone out, I knew he was going to be good, but I thought he would have trouble initially keeping the pitch count down, which he's getting better and better after each start. Let's see how he'll do pitching in that hot Texas summer though.

Complete credit for the Yu Darvish signing goes to Jon Daniels and the scouting department. That's what Cornell gets you. Love the Texas front office. Showing the right way to run a successful sports organization. I have complete faith they will assess a Hamilton long-term extension wisely and correctly. Long time away, but the only hole Rangers have on their team is 1B to be addressed in 2013.
