HASTINGS, Mich. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Former major league outfielder Chad Curtis has been sentenced to seven to 15 years in prison for inappropriately touching teenage girls. Curtis was sentenced Thursday in a Barry County courtroom. A jury this past summer found the two-time World Series champion guilty of six counts of criminal sexual conduct.
Prosecutors say he touched the girls last year when he was a volunteer weight-room strength trainer at an area high school. A 16-year-old girl says he touched and kissed her breasts. Two 15-year-old girls say Curtis inappropriately touched their buttocks.
Between 1992 and 2001, Curtis played for the then-California Angels, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees and Texas Rangers. He won the two World Series rings with the Yankees in 1998 and 1999.

Crazy how tickets are that cheap, even for the Pit@StL series. NLDS game 3 ticket @ Dodgers Stadium, lowest is $95 on stubhub, :smh:.

Ready for J. Upton to rake. He's so hot and cold. Fully capable of postseason MVP production with a hot bat.
