shut up.
Oh yeah, you may have a silly gif but you'll be feeling sillier when the Cards take it.

The way she shook that off :pimp: ...

jenny is my girl :pimp:

man this year continues to amaze. it's a new hero EVERY time with this team. team of grinders that's never down and out. very reminiscent of the '04 team. stoked to be back in the WS and looking forward to playing the cards. First Born...we meet again in a finals series, my friend

Congrats on DSA and other Sox fans on the AL pennant.

Sticking with my original prediction, Cards in 7. I hope Shelby Miller plays a role in the WS.

^ crazy. Tigers are a worthless team. All that talent and you can't get **** down.

Cardinals HAVE to win this series. I won't be watching but I need them to get it.

Jimmy's not Maddon or Tito, but still one of the better managers in the game. Definitely well respected.

Ripe jobs. Nats, Reds, Tigers.

I think Nats are the closest to a WS with the right manager. That would be my ideal gig.

just saw on espn that jim leyland is stepping down .
I'd love him to manage the Dodgers. The Tigers had the worst bullpen out of all of the playoff teams. You can't win a World Series with a weak pen and a non-factor closer. If the Tigers are able to improve in that area this off season they should be right back in it next year.

Jim has stated that he'll be taking a different position with the club, and that he wants to retire a Tiger.

It's the same story every year with them, I feel like I've heard that excuse for 3 years straight now.

It's two post seasons in a row where the offense failed them, at what point do you start blaming them as well? Two in a row with Cabrera looking like he's worn down. Two in a row where Prince looks over matched. Two in a row where defense and horrid base running by those two cost them. They

Dusty Baker? Tigers? What do you guys think?

No, didn't hear it anywhere. Just throwing it out there.

They have had a weak bullpen for the past three post seasons though. That's the main reason they didn't advance past Texas in 2011, were swept last year against the Giants and lost this year to Boston. Their defense was shaky all season and if my memory serves me right they were being slandered by NTers back during Spring Training on their defense. Miggy wasn't 100% in this series (I am aware a lot of players aren't during this time of the year) and Prince is a non-factor in post season ball. I just feel that this team needs to tinker the pen in order to win it all.

^ I hear you. Like I said, at some point it needs to be on that "potent" offense to get a few runs, no? Three runs a game isn't getting it done against that offense/pen. Outside of that 7 run game, they didn't look good.

Miggy was slumping the last month of the year. But they wanted him to go after that dumb *** triple crown again, so he kept getting trotted out there.

I think it was only a few NT'ers with that defense argument  and it was ONLY on NT. Everyone thought last year's base running and fielding was somehow an aberration.

Ska, if I'm any team with young pitching I'm never letting Dusty anywhere near my organization

Tigers need Balfour or Nathan.
Honestly, if I am the Tigers, I am signing at least 3 free agent bullpen arms....maybe more.

I am going on record by saying my prediction is Brian Wilson is the Tigers closer next year.

That'll be a smart move, he definitely showed that he's back. Dodgers aren't giving him that role or the money that role usually gets.

That being said, Red Sox in 6.

Crazy if they pull it off, last place to World Series Champs.

Gonzales, Crawford, Beckett with this reaction:
