IDK what's more painful to watch Danny Espinosa's at bats (0/4 3K's), Ryan Zimmerman throwing the ball (3rd throwing error in three games in the 9th with 1 out led to blown save), or trying to watch Drew Storen nail down a save after his Game 5 meltdown last year.

Then again, we could lose a game like the Astros did tonight :x
 
O's :x Pitching is just horrendous right now, and I don't see many solutions on the horizon. Might have to sign someone off the scrap heap or make a trade. To make things infinitely worse, Bundy has been having arm issues down in the minors :smh: This club has to be the absolute worst when it comes to developing young arms, and the horrible luck doesn't help.

Harvey is really fun to watch with those fastball variations. I'm a fan.

Adam Jones been my go to guy this season. Picked CarGo today, Rockies put 10 runs on 14 hits...CarGo contributed nada to that.
 
I remember how angry Nowtiness was when the Mariners gave up Smoak in the Lee trade :lol:

Dudes were taking shots at the Rangers for giving up Smoak for a 3 month rental :rofl:.


This is why I'm always OK with trading a propsect for an established player.
 
Kinsler DL'd... Profar back with the big club just as he was starting to get up at AAA.
 
Nats will finish the season in 3rd place, you can say I'm panicking or whatever you want but this team just doesn't have it. A bunch of overhyped frauds. I'm pissed.

No depth off the bench at ALL....that's the problem...we don't have anybody in the minors we can bring up?


It's sad...I can't blame the pitchers

Haren has been average. And we could call up Jeff Kobernus to get a look at 2B but he's not on the 40 man roster so that's very unlikely. Rendon is gonna get called up again at some point. Depending on how tomorrow goes for Zach Duke we could also call up Fernando Abad to be our lefty in the pen.

Yeah I don't know what I meant by that, just a bunch of guys not playing up to their potential. Denard Span has been medicore at best, Espinosa is garbage, until the San Diego series Ryan Zimmerman and Adam LaRoche were terrible, Jayson Werth is just sitting on the DL collecting paychecks, and Ian Desmond has forgotten how to hit a fastball. We're gonna have to make some moves at the deadline. Only player who is playing great is Harper and he tried running through a wall and is still hurting in his knee from that.
