Danny Espinosa, Zach Duke, and Henry Rodriguez are all gone off the 25 man roster. Espinosa to the "DL" I know he's hurt, but I think they're helping him save face by not demoting him outright. Duke and Rodriguez placed on waivers, doubt any competitive team picks them up.

Anthony Rendon called up to the show for good, hopefully he'll produce. Jayson Werth activated from the DL and Bryce Harper is on target to return 6/11. Things might be looking up in DC, especially since we get to face Jeremy Hefner tonight  then again, with this offense we might struggle to put up a run against him :smh:

ESPN reporting A-Rod & Braun suspended among others for role to clinic in Miami. This is about to be a huge story.

Braun is clean tho......... :nerd:

Wonder if we see that dude pull thru and type til his fingers bleed again.

Sources tell @OTLonESPN that Biogenesis clinic founder Tony Bosch (Founder) will testify against players; MLB preparing to suspend A-Rod, Braun, etc.
ohwell.gif

Would it be safe to say that this is possibly the last we'll see of A-Rod in MLB?

When it all, it all falls down...

The players who might ultimately face discipline from MLB include: Rodriguez, Braun, Cabrera, Colon, Grandal, Nelson Cruz, Francisco Cervelli, Jesus Montero, Jhonny Peralta, CesarPuello, Fernando Martinez, Everth Cabrera, Fautini de los Santos, Jordan Norberto, and a number of players who are either identified by code names or whose names appear in other documents not obtained by "Outside the Lines." All are currently on major-league rosters but for Puello, a top outfield prospect for the New York Mets who is playing in Class AA Binghamton.

One player listed who will be scrutinized but possibly exonerated is the Nationals' Gio Gonzalez. Gonzalez was listed among Biogenesis clients, but two sources told ESPN that the only substances he received from the clinic were legal.

No question, I think A-Rod goes out the Barry Bonds route, wanting to still play, thinking he can still play, but no phone ringing, and just walks away into the sunset. We won't see him again for quite a while imo. He'll go into hiding and try to return to a spotlight of some sort in 5 years, hitting coach, analyst, etc. But I don't know if he'll get even those kind of looks.

100 games will never stick. It's BS that the MLB is even going to try that. MLBPA will get those reduced with ease.

:rolleyes

I mean did they all fail drug tests? If he goes to court and testifies that's one thing, but you're gonna suspend multiple players on what's essentially hearsay?

Can't say I didn't see this happening eventually. 20 guys though...doesn't make me feel as bad being a fan of the Brewers.

How do you figure when there have been other MLBers who have gotten 100 game bans? This is going to be a 2nd offense for many guys on that list. They're getting that lengthy ban.

Yo this dude lied, won his first case on a damn technicality, he better be getting that Bonds Treatment and a 100 game suspension. Hell suspend the fool for the rest of the year, but now he's gonna get lucky cause this case will take months to get done.

Biogenesis founder Tony Bosch agreed to cooperate with investigators from MLB after months of trying to verify if the players received performance-enhancing drugs from Bosch. Investigators have had records for more than a month that named the players.

Until now, Bosch had denied any wrongdoing with PED distribution.

Bosch is expected to begin meeting with officials -- and naming names -- within a week. The announcement of suspensions could follow within two weeks.

Sources did not say what other materials, such as receipts and phone records, Bosch might provide, but said he has pledged to provide anything in his possession that could help MLB build cases against the players.
