Archie has control/command problems dating way back before his elbow injury. He's just not that good yet. He'll get smacked if he comes up now outside of the times he pitches in Petco.

I'm hurt. His K/BB rate is ugly this season.

Rumor is that Sacramento is going to be SFG & Fresno will be Oakland's Triple A. Why they want to be affiliated with the Giants terrible farm system is beyond me

Sac,like most of NorCal, is sfg territory...

They give none dambs about how the squad is doing, they just want the association with the parent club

I know this isn't MLB related, but I'm really proud of my brother in the minors this season in Burlington, IA-Midwest League-Angels. Had a great outing tonight, is leading the league in ERA at the moment. Really has taken a leap in his game, more of the mental side and attacking hitters properly. Really hopeful in the next few years he keeps progressing, but really happy for what he has done so far this year!

The interesting thing about my brother is, he's been a pitcher just five years. He's come a heck of a long ways in a fairly short amount of time. And there's more room to grow for him I feel like. This is his first full season being a starter and he says it is taking a toll on the body. But, he's learning how to handle all of that on the fly, and he's doing a good job with it.

Then there's guys like Mark Appel who are "can't miss" yet is getting absolutely rocked this season in Hi-A. ERA near 11 after his start tonight. 1 2/3 inns, 7ER. :x
