Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Only way I can see someone saying Goodfellas was boring is if they hate Ray Liotta.
Wanderlust...I liked it.

Paul Rudd found his zone and son is banking from it haha. Every movie he does is the same
Hoping for another Imma give ya that d***! scene in the movie with Tina Fey

Once you start, you won't stop. It's that kind of book.

And Goodfellas is a masterpiece. Opinions to the contrary are wrong.

Absolutely. Goodfellas is golden.

I wrote this up in The Walking Dead thread, this isn't spoiling anything, but I thought it was pretty neat.

A fun tidbit that no one mentioned on The Talking Dead tonight, but the first zombie that we see outside of the bar where Merle is drinking is a homage to the Romero classic Dawn of the Dead.

This zombie was first seen in Dawn of the Dead when the black SWAT member Peter enters an abandoned shack in the wilderness, and this zombie stumbles into the shack. It is also the poster art for both Dawn of the Dead and it's sequel, Day of the Dead.

Decided to watch Tree of Life tonight....

I got my bottle of Jack with me and I'm ready for my mind to be ******.

In relation to our old thread, guys, we excited for 42?

The theatrical preview I saw before Olympus had me HYPED. The Jay song goin with it was perfect as well. It looks like its gonna be special. :pimp:

One problem tho.......um, kid from Tokyo Drift is in it.

I'm hopeful. I just don't want to leave disappointed.

Who knows what I'm talking about?

There's this scene where some guy meets some other guy in a dinner. There's a window close by to where the two men are talking.

The convo ends with the main character saying something like "I'm not going to kill you." The main character leaves. Shortly after, the dude that he was talking to gets sniped.

Is this scene from a Bourne movie or am I thinking of something else?

I didn't say that goodfellas sucked. It was boring to me, that's it. I can respect the acclaim it has, but I found it to be boring. The acting is believable and the plot was fleshed out.
After Joe Pesci got whacked, I lost interest.

I don't know what the **** this movie is.

Tree of Life

I'm about to turn you off

Yen, that diner scene sounds kind of like Killing Them Softly with Brad Pitt bein the one that says he's not going to kill him.

I watched Lawless yesterday. I was expecting more from Tom Hardy, but that was because of his Bane performance. Shia's best performance in my opinion.

I was laughing at Guy Pearce's hair. The soundtrack was great!
is that they showed that the trio can never die. :pimp:
I saw Leon the professional today. I really liked it, in terms of how Leon's/little girl's relationship developed.
that little girl was serious about becoming a cleaner. All that training and she couldn't even do anything. smh.
Saw ep. 1 of Band of Brothers.

I was surprised at the cast, mainly because most are now very successful.

I haven't seen that movie.

In that movie, does the person he's talking to get sniped?

It reinvented a dying movie cliche.
Found footage?

Andrew.... I hate that kid's guys. I'd bully him in real life too :smh: :smh: typical whiny loser kid in hs. Child please.

Wallace is actually a pretty good actor. I was really surprised to see him in this, I could definitely see him in more movies soon!

Matt, shocked he's Australian and was able to get a solid American accent going at such a young age. I liked his character the best :\

At first we heard it was because his people thought it would tarnish his "image" now Will Smith tells us why he really left Django to EW - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-2MP

He goofed.

After reading the real reason, he was probably better off taking the role. Now he will known for having his ego get in the way.

Still think Foxx was a better choice anyway.

will smith as django would've been lame,

smith probably would've wanted waltz replaced with someone not as talented so he is not out shined.

and it would've looked something like this.
