Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Meh was for Chester. I wanted to be a douche and trash the movie like he did MLB yesterday, then I went into my actual thoughts on it.

That chick could definitely pull Jaina off. Dane DeHaan from Chronicle would be a good Jacen, IMO. Cast those two and I'd be happy.

Glad you enjoyed Shaun. :pimp: Have you seen Hot Fuzz?

Not yet, but I know I need to get to it. I remember even back then the preview looked funny, just never got around to either one for some reason.

I don't remember which one is DeHaan but I will look him up. We still need an Anakin tho. Thankfully George stepped aside or it would be Justin Bieber no doubt about it.

Yes, I just saw it again yesterday in fact.

Even if you can't directly relate to the characters and their issues, it's still solidly acted and well made. It's a great example of how a coming-of-age movie should hit you emotionally if that's what they're going for.

perks of a wallflower worth watching? :nerd:
Don't do it.

It'll turn all your bad feelings into good feelings, then bad feelings, then good feelings, then it's complicated.

And uhhh..who saw this coming?

I don't have an appetite for most of the movies in here.

I need to try and force myself to watch some of these movies from last year

Well Finding Nemo 2 was planned for a few years - now they are giving it a proper title - it's set 1 yr after Nemo.

So, does that mean Planes is coming out in 2014? I know its Monsters University this summer. I also know they've already green-lighted Toy Story 4. Kind of disappointing that Pixar is mostly just in to the sequel/prequel business now, with Brave being the one exception lately. Oh well, money talks.

Planes isn't directly from Pixar, so it doesn't quite count. They also have The Good Dinosaur coming next year.

I meant that sarcastically. Finding Nemo's my fav Pixar and Toy Story 3 was great, but this all feels like Pixar hit the panic nostalgia/sequel button.

I guess Wall-E was the mountaintop for originality, but I hope not.

Last year was really good for movies, something for everyone. Have you seen End of Watch? Goon? The Impostor? Silver Linings might not seem like your kinda thing, but it might surprise you.

WAIT WHAT?!

Maybe not. Back in February there was some stuff on Twitter that seemed to indicate that it was happening. But I just Googled it and nobody from Disney or Pixar has ever actually confirmed it.

yeah, i've seen Goon and End of Watch.  I think i'll start with Skyfall and then Silver Linings.

those are the two i've heard the most about.

At least you're not wasting people's time.

JA...this looks pretty damn good as far as today's horror goes.

Apparently, it couldn't get a PG-13 rating, not because of anything graphic, but because of the tone. Tone.

I've never heard that one before.

Well.

Just finished Snow White and the huntsman.

I was expecting a realistic dark Snow White vision, ESP considering the cast.

I got something all over the place.

Plus those CGI creatures pissed me off :smh:

I had the disappoint.

I'm not saying Vera Farmiga and "from the director of Insidious" got me biased.....

...

Do you guys remember the rollerblade movie Airborne? I just ordered it off of Amazon
Haven't seen it...but that reminds me of the greatest rollerblade movie of all time: Brink
