Been watching the last half of Waiting forgot how solid this movie was. Back when Ryan Reynolds was fun and tolerable. Dane Cook's character is great in this.

It's the perfect late night cable movie.

I don't usually sit down and say "I would LOVE to watch Waiting right now", but I definitely put it on whenever I see it.

Watching Madagascar with my boy right now, and noticed Hans Zimmer in the credits. I already know he did TDKR, so I looked him up to see his body of work.

DAAAAAAAMMMNNN.

Arrested Development's awesome, I'm glad I finally got into this show. Only watched a few new episodes but I decided to go back and rewatch the series first since it was pretty funny and I ran through it in like a week.

I watched an episode of Workaholics for the first time last night, Idk if it was just the episode or if they're all like that, but it had me rolling at 4 am. I guess I just like that dumb characters arguing about dumb stuff schtick that Always Sunny does since it's basically like the convos my friends and I have.

Edit: Carl Weathers, Gene Parmesean, I love characters like this

Workaholics is great! I haven't started the last season yet but that show is hilarious. Still have a few episodes in season 3 of Arrested Development, really looking forward to finishing it and starting the new season.

psk, I'm about to check out Syrup tonight the trailer looked really interesting.

So is it really not that impressive, the list of credits Hans Zimmer is in? I mean... when I was scrolling through his iMDB... like I said... DAAAAAAAMMMMMN.

But maybe being a part of so many impressive movies is a little more pedestrian than I thought.

Or maybe y'all just some hatin' *** haters.

Also, I just got word of Daniel Day in a QT movie? Say word? I know y'all got details. Direct me to a page number if you guys have already discussed it and don't want to regurgitate what you've said... or fill me in on what you know.

Or is it just speculation?

Tell you what I'd like to see: QT flexing his muscle by switching it up somehow. You know how Stephen King is known for being a certain kind of way, then he did... The Green Mile? Like to see QT throw a curveball, see how well it gets executed. I'm thinking either a kids movie, or a love story. OOORRR... or stunning visual experience, like Pi or Avatar.

DDL was almost offered the role of Vincent, but I don't know of anything for a future movie.

I'm watching Trouble With the Curve and suddenly feeling very excited about Lois Lane later this week. I love this woman.

I haven't heard anything about DDL with QT. But that matchup would rule, all.

Hans Zimmer's work is impressive. I've bought several of his soundtracks but none of his songs are memorable in the same way John Williams' scores are (Not to mention the various pieces from Star Wars, you also have Jaws, Superman, Indiana Jones...I could go on & on).

I loved the Devil's Double. I tried to get people to watch it here on NT when it first came out (in several threads).

I didn't hear about DDL doing a movie with QT, but I think it was discussed that he was doing another one with Spielberg.

The Purge was terrible and I had very low expectations.

Top 3 AWFUL movies of 2013 so far
1. Hangover 3
2. Identity Thief
3. The Purge

trouble with the curve was awful, but Adams is awful. Anyone who hasn't watched the master...do so, she's just as vital as Hoffman and Phoenix

I agree with this list...(I didn't see Identity Theft) The Purge could have been soooo much better...**** was beyond horrible

The Borgias S3 finale :wow: :pimp: I'm gonna miss my boy Micheletto if he don't return next season.

On another mind **** sort of note, for the longest I thought Brie Larson and Merritt Wever were the same person. So I'd see movies with both of them in it and not think much of it until Merritt got fat. Anybody who watched Nurse Jackie would have noticed. So I'm like damn this ***** got fat quick cuz the both of them still do movies and I'm looking at the years that some of these have came out like damn how she gained 80lbs+ in the same year she filmed this other movie where she's pretty thin. It was only until I watched Greenberg today, a movie that they're both in, that I realized they're two different ppl

Greenberg was okay.

I'm seeing nothing but mixed reviews for Man of Steel. Overall I'm seeing good for the action parts, which I guess will be enough for a summer blockbuster. If you're a fan of the comics thinking a Superman movie will be best when it's more like the comic you'll probably be a bit disappointed.

I'm still coming in with low expectations, just act like I aint read any reviews.
Producer for The Purge confirms sequel already in the works - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-35c
said it before, and i'll say it again, we'll have a new purge movie every year/other year for a while. concept is too golden and easy not to milk annually. still need to see it though.
 Figures.

Are we sure The Purge wasn't adapted from a comic or a remake from the 70s? First fresh and relatively new idea in Hollywood and they're already planning to suck it dry.
greenberg is top 5 worst movies ive ever seeen
I didn't hate it or think it was the worst I've ever seen but I can see how some ppl can feel that way, especially if you're watching much better movies on a regular basis. Movie lacked a lot of direction story wise. I could see what i was going for but it just came off too awkward for the most part and didn't know what it wanted to be.
