Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Watched The Internship, Pacific Rim and World War Z today. Internship was funnier than expected but predictable. Worth seeing on Red Box or HBO. World War Z bored me to death and had some terrible scenes  Pacific Rim's fight scenes were great. Some **** I would dream about as a kid but I thought it was full of poor acting and had terrible dialogue.

Yall can't tell me Travis Fimmel and Charlie Hunnam aren't identical twins :wow:

EDIT

Awwww man, somebody confirm. I think Rashida Jones got a nose job :smh:

I'm watching her with Craig and the whole time I'm like something just looks off. Thought it was weight loss but it seems she straightened the bridge of her nose, at angles she was just looking like a white girl in the face.

So Gravity was amazing. I absolutely hate 3D movies but I saw this in IMAX 3D and wow.
Like everyone has been saying the movie was a total experience, my jaw literally dropped during a couple of scenes. I can't wait until this comes out on blu ray, hopefully by then 4k TVs have a huge drop in price and I can get one . But yeah great movie and if you're going to see it make sure it's IMAX 3D

Odd Thomas was tremendous. Really wish it would get an American release. If any of you "find" it, watch it. Followed the book wonderfully.

I can't wait for the dozens of reviews from idiots on their computers saying that it sucked just because they watched it on their laptop.

World War Z was trash and the ending was awful
Half-Way Agree.

I wouldn't say it was Completely Trash, but with the Ending, it definitely close to Underwhelming.

Put it like this... I've seen it once & that was enough for me. No desire to watch it a 2nd time.

I along with my wife & kid really enjoyed WWZ. We thought it was entertaining as heck. My son was on the edge of his seat the whole time & laughed hard when the zombie teeth were snapping...

Just saw Halloween all the way through for the first time.
For it's budget, and time of release, it was :pimp:

BUT OMFG Jaime Lee Curtis was BEAUTIFUL back then.

Great movie. I'm not a horror expert, but I consider it one of the GOAT horror films. The remake doesn't come close. And yeah, Jamie Lee back then was legit.

So, Hangover III, if you haven't seen it already, don't waste your time. Not good.

I really enjoyed Rush. Thought it was great

I also think it helped not knowing too much about the story beforehand

Happiness is the enemy.it weakens you

Almost through Prisoners and this movies too much. :smh:

Guess we can assume what happened at the end. Whistles :pimp:

Anyone see Captain Phillips and want to spoil the ending? I saw it the other night but kept falling asleep so I don't remember much after Hanks is on the lifeboat and he fixes that pirates foot.

Anyone care to compile a list of Halloween movies for the misses and I? I've never really gotten into them but I'm going to try and watch a few each week to get into Halloween mode.

^^^same here.
But I'm not really into horror movies, I like the overly cheesy type of horror films and the old school slasher flicks like Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th

I'm shocked that eastbound and down is hilarious again after that super stinky past season. Just watched the first two episodes of the new season and it's excellent. Rare that a show comes back this good
