Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

physically can't read this thread b/c of the title.... |I

Even after learning the contents.

anyway i havne't seen ANY good horror / disturbing films.

martyrs / old boy / sympathy for lady vengeance kinda feel.

I've seen a majority of the ones you'll normally find in a top 10 list so I'm hoping to find something new.

:wow: at Gyllenhaal's weight loss.

I mentioned it over the weekend, but Prisoners was dope. Go see him and Jackman go back and forth.

dude looks completely different.. like, completely.
It really is crazy disturbing at this point when I keep looking at the expression on his face.

Even Matthew still looked like Matthew when he lost all the weight for that Aids medication dealing movie.

Sherlock Will Return January 19
By Margaret Lyons

The long-awaited third season of the BBC's Sherlock will premiere in the United States on January 19 at 10 p.m., PBS tells EW.

That's two weeks after Downton Abbey's premiere, though that show is currently already airing its fourth season overseas and is thus available on the Internet, should rabid fans seek it out. Note that Sherlock still does not have a U.K. release date but that the BBC of course has first dibs on airing the show — meaning the series will make its British debut sometime before January 19. This again means that it will be on the Internet right after it airs in the U.K., not that anyone would ever condone watching things on the Internet, even something you've been waiting for for like, two whole years, while some people went off to make more goddamn Hobbit movies.

Seen the first episode (which is a 90 minute film, essentially). Seems like there's 3 in every season. Going to make sure I'm all caught up before it airs. Might be the next show I watch once I'm all caught up on Homeland.

shows nick fury in the getting operated on, says "you need to keep both eyes open"

could he be getting an eye transplant?

Hopefully, you're kidding.

That looks perfect.

I don't feel a threat. If you're going to make a sequel, make it seem like something is on the line. Not just Cap adjusting to today's world. Iron Man 2 did it with Tony struggling with his real world issues. Empire Strikes Back did it with the Empire gaining the upper hand over the Rebels.

I'm just saying, I'd just like a threat to Cap.

And to nitpick a bit, wish Falcon had some red on him, and Cap should wear his mask more. I know you have Chris Evans for his looks, but When I think of CA, I think he's always masked.

The Winter Soldier won't be a threat? Heli-carrier crashing down didn't insinuate an issue? Falcon chased by a jet. Caps shield being caught like a frisbee?

That looks better than IM3 & Wolverine 2 :rolleyes.

I didn't think Falcon would wear red though from the moment I read he was going to be in the movie. Hope Mackie does well...

After The Avengers? No.

Thor: The Dark World seems like a larger threat because the threat is to all of Asgard.

Iron Man 3, while not all that great, had Tony battling his inner demons at least.

The Winter Soldier looks decent. But just because he catches Cap's shield I'm supposed to drool over it?

JapanAir21 - saying IM3 was "not all that great" is like saying bleach doesn't taste too bad...

IM3 was horrible...

It wasn't very good, I know. But at the same time I do know quite a few people enjoyed it.

Myself, I was highly disappointed. It failed pretty miserably.

I agree iron man 3 wasn't that good.

But I thought it was awesome how he went in and out the suits. Especially the part where he took it off Pepper that **** was cool.

But looking at the new Cap trailer. I think I will like it more than I did the first.
