Meh, I've never been big on the Jackass crew, so I'm not too interested in Bad Grandpa. Only thing that will change my mind is if it gets pretty universally good word of mouth like Borat did when it came out.

If it's one thing we know about "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" director Adam McKay, it's that he shoots a lot of footage. There were so many alternate takes from the first 'Anchorman' that he cobbled together an entire second movie from the footage, entitled "Wake Up, Ron Burgundy" that was included in special two-packs with the original movie, and has joked that he shot more film for "Step Brothers" than Francis Ford Coppola did for "Apocalypse Now." But according to a new interview with Empire, McKay is planning an entire alternate version of "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" with completely new jokes. Plus: a brand new poster for the movie!

While explaining why he had to cut the joke in the film's trailer where the gang (including Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd) mistakes Matthew Stanton's openly gay character for a vampire, McKay says that although the film is locked at an hour and 53 minutes ("The longest one we've ever done"), he still wants to release another version of the movie.

"We did so much improv on this one that we can literally replace every single joke in the movie and put in alt scenes and alt improv runs," McKay explained. And it's not a pie-in-the-sky idea, either. "I think the editor’s working on it right now, with 250 new jokes." He even has an idea about how to release this version, "I think it would be really funny to put it in theatres for midnight showings. I know that I personally, if I loved a movie and someone told me that, like if 'Airplane!' had been released with all-new jokes, I’d be like, ‘you’ve got to be ******g kidding me!’ I’d see it in a second.” Um, us too, Adam!

Also, in case you need a little more Ron Burgundy in your life, you can take a gander at the new poster for the film, which features the news team as towering behemoths lording over New York City. Classy all the way.

The actors playing Ricky, Julian and Bubbles acquired the franchise rights from the show's original producers and plan an eighth season on their Internet channel, SwearNet.com.

TORONTO -- Ricky, Julian and Bubbles of the Trailer Park Boys film and TV franchise are returning for an eighth season of the cult Canadian TV series.

But this time the trio, played by Canadian actors Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith, will be streaming online.
The move follows Wells, Tremblay and Smith purchasing the rights to the Trailer Park Boys TV series from the show's original producers, Mike Clattenburg, Barrie Dunn and Mike Volpe.

The Trailer Park Boys ended their Canadian TV run in 2008.
The eighth season, set to start shooting later this month, will stream on Wells, Tremblay and Smith’s new Internet channel, SwearNet.com, where the new-season announcement was made.
“While the three of us have moved on to different TV and film projects, the Boys are the only ones with the intimate knowledge and love of the show to keep Trailer Park Boys alive and well," said Clattenburg in a statement.
The rights deal does not include the third Trailer Park Boys movie, tentatively titled Trailer Park Boys 3: Don't Legalize It, which recently finished production.
Wells, Tremblay and Smith did pick up the rights to the first two Trailer Park Boys movies.
Their Canadian mockumentary portrays three petty crooks followed by a documentary crew as they get up to no good in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park.

^^^But I don't think 50 Shades has anything to do with vampires? I thought it was just about a rich, freaky dude, that has his way with an otherwise average girl. And gets her into some of the kinky stuff he likes. At least, that's how my wife seemed to sum it up to me.

*edit* You're right Noble. Looked it up on Wikipedia. Never knew that before. Crazy. One crappy series spawns another.

Cloud Atlas is coming on HBO or Showtime tonight and the wife and I are thinking of watching it..Has anyone seen it, and is it worth watching?..

The only one that has gone up from its previous week was Betrayal, a Sunday ABC drama starring Hannah Ware and Stuart Townsend, that somehow went from 2.88 million U.S. viewers in episode 3 to 3.51 million U.S. viewers in episode 4. When you put things into perspective though, that's hardly any viewers for a network show (especially on such a popular day for the TV industry like Sunday).

Lucky 7 is the worst show Ive ever seen Im mad I watched two eps

The chance of ANY of that happening is like seeing a Leprechaun in the hood.

How the eff did people say they liked This Is The End? The only cool slightly amusing thing about the flick were the cameos & seeing them get killed off comically. Aside from that, the movie wasn't even remotely amusing to me. A completed waste of a HD VOD rental... Shoulda just waited until it hit one of the pay channels...
 
I thought it was pretty meh too, I know they needed a story.. but Rogen and his *bestfriend* (cant think of his name right now) just annoyed me.

:lol: Is that show already canceled? I don't think I've seen flipping through channels since the 2nd ep. No updates for it on demand either.

I never had time for it but I thought other shows would be canceled quicker. The ratings for that must've been terribad.
