Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

just finished watching we're the millers. definitely one of my favorite of 2013. many lulz were had.

Yeah i enjoyed that movie, Was expecting it to be garbage but was pretty funny

Jennifer Aniston in that Stripping scene :smokin

Anyone watch JJ Abrams' Almost Human on Fox? Had the 1st 2 Eps saved on my DVR I just watched. I liked it....
I've enjoyed it for what it is so far. It's been good. Hasn't hooked me yet.

They've taken advantage of likely possible future crime based on advances in science so that's cool.

Didnt know michael rosenbaum had breast like that. Musta had them done recently

Come on, man. You know fake ones don't bounce like that. They're real and they're spectacular.
How you just gonna ignore him calling her Rosenbaum

Because I already know how NobleKane feels about J-Law, so I could let that part go, but I can't stand for an insult to perfect, natural boobs, independent of who they're attached to.

Because he needs attention. If he just said "She's not my type" or "I'm not a fan", then that's cool... preference and taste is fine. But he went on and on about how she's coked up and it's a forced act and how she's hideously ugly and all these other extremes.. and it always comes right after someone praises her performance in something or posts something funny she does.

I just ignore it.

Touché.. I can live with ripping off the concept

But do they really need to go the whole nine and remake the damn movie... There are enough bad movies out there that had good ideas but were poorly executed that could/should be remade

But if a movie was good the first time, then just leave it alone.. Or at least bring an original take on the original film.. Don't just recycle basically the same movie over again to make a couple dollars (like red dawn.. Or from what I heard Carrie)

For Hollywood there'll never be enough. Not a whole lot of news ideas there anymore and a lot of dumb execs/producers rejecting the few good ones.

So remake **** from a few decades ago.

Good lord, why can't Hollywood let patrick swayze rest in peace..

Please dear lord baby Jesus don't let point break be next.. Can't they just go after to Wong foo or something

Agreed. I like it but it's by no means a classic - but it has a style and it's of a period that doesn't need redone - it's not like it was a fantastic story and they want to do it properly. Just leave it alone.

Saw Riddick in the dollar theater here.....one of the lamest movies I have seen in my life

Still can't believe they killed my girl Taraji P. on Person of interest. That show has become so thrillingly brilliant :smokin :smokin :smokin

The Millers was ok. I didn't laugh as much as I thought I would.

Tarantino announced last night on Leno that he is already working on his next film and that it will be a Western, but not a Django sequel. :pimp:

And there are some rumors about where he might be leaning in terms of the project, so I'll just leave this one right on here.

'Forty Lashes Less One'
It would be appropriate that Tarantino return to material from Elmore Leonard, the author of the source material for "Jackie Brown," especially after his passing in August of this year. It has been long-rumored that the writer/director wants to adapt "Forty Lashes Less One," a novel with a story that sounds just like a Tarantino movie. The book follows two characters: a disgraced, black Union soldier and a half-breed Apache man, who are released from prison to hunt down the five most-wanted outlaws in Arizona.

Please God, let this be it. Please.

I'm fine if the run time for TWOWS is 3+ hours since Scorsese is directed. Even his off films are better than most directors entire careers...

Tarantino said his next project is going to be another Western right? I wonder who he'll cast?
