I feel like I haven't been posting as often as I used to.

Fortunately, it's because I've been working a ton and I'm thankful to have a job after being unemployed for a bit.... and mostly working at night as well so I miss a ton of sports related discussions in-game.

That and I had an awesome girlfriend taking up my non-work time. Unfortunately, that's over... so I'll probably be posting on NT a lot more with my free time.

So I got that going for me :lol:

Movies man. Escapism. MrO is back. And NT puts all that together for ya, just as the summer onslaught is about to begin with all the big pictures comin up soon. This is where you can come and get away from stuff in life that tries to keep our spirits down. Hang in there bruh. Her loss is our gain. :nthat:
 
watch Blue Jasmine.  I loved the part where she's having lunch with her nephews and she starts babbling on about everything that happened

all those little bits where she starts rambling.  Towards the end I thought something different was going to happen I was relieved that it didn't

but still saddened by her

I was most surprised by Andrew Dice Clay even though he looked the same I could barely tell it was actually him

I'm sure I'll be alright. It ended on ok terms, I didn't do anything wrong, neither did she.. it was just not the right time and it was how she felt. I'm sure it doesn't help that we're going to try to still be friends and we work together... in very close quarters too :lol: :smh:

Movies and TV are usually a good escape for me in the past, but I haven't wanted to watch anything in general... don't really have an attention span as of late for movies.

Is there a article or time dates for 12 Years A Slave of what happened? Like Brad's appearance and the white guy working in the fields as well? also finished the movie about 10 minutes before the Oscars lol

posted in the music forum but just got he Her soundtrack from arcade fire. it is sooooooo chill. album has been on repeat at work today

 
Escapism my *** :lol:

Tried watching Thor: The Dark World today.. decided to lay down because I've been exhausted the past few days and I was fighting sleep and couldn't keep my attention.

When I did hit a rough patch a few years ago (non-female related) that's when I powered through like 5 full series of TV :lol: Sopranos, The Wire, Dexter, a few others. I did enjoy watching some early episodes of Friends the past couple days. So maybe when I'm depressed I don't have the attention span for movies, but TV is better.
 
^^^I'm with you Big J. I can't do movies when I'm depressed. Even ones that seem like they'll help can find a way to bug you.
