Just watched the first episode of House Of Cards season 1...

Season 2 is the best season of a series that I've seen in years

I just did 2 hours on the elliptical watching episodes #2 & #3. I kinda don't like Underwood (Spacey) addressing the camera. His looks are comical though...

Good for you, man. I pretty sure, with the shape I'm in right now, I'd be risking cardiac arrest after about 45 minutes on an elliptical...even if I was going slow.

But I do appreciate the well done movies, saw DBC and was floored by the acting.

I think Marion Cotillard is like quietly top 5 actresses. If you don't mind subs, Rust and Bone and La Vie en Rose are really good. Especially Rose which is near the top of foreign flicks for me.

Blue is the Warmest Colour ain't just a couple sex scenes.

Beasts of the Southern Wild is...kind of a big monster movie?

Damn soundtrack was stereophonic in my earbuds. Kept thinking someone was playing tier music too loudly behind me only to discover it was the soundtrack playing...

Watched Homefront for the first time yesterday What an ***-kicking movie. I wanted Winona Ryder dead during that movie. Her and James Franco were some scumbags.

Also, I guess I erased a portion of Final Destination 2 from my memory. I don't remember Ali Larter dying such a terrible death I just read that was a way of writing her out of Final Destination 3 after some type of dispute with the producers.

i'm convinced that The Great Beauty is the most beautiful movie i've ever seen

Just peeped last night and was floored, truly magical visually and very well written. The scene of young Jed with his first girl is already one of my favorites ever. So many breathtaking moments in the film, I'm going to have to watch it again later on this week.

Yes and no? The first one is good in a campy way.

Final Destination 2, imo, is one of the best modern horror flicks. The opening scene. The kills. The cast. Everything's so inventive. Like every scene is so memorable and distinct and well done. The story's actually legit, and it never stops being entertaining. I mean, yeah it's a campy popcorn movie, but it's one you wanna see over and over again. It's the X2 of horror movies.

The rest are . Some worse than others, but the first one is actually good, and the second is just awesome in an early 00s way.
