Aye, what time are your tickets? I'm tryna get good seats for your review. Throw in an @ for me so I catch it.

The cold open on "The Injury" where Michael grills his foot is just brilliant too... where everyone is talking to Michael on the speaker phone.

Carell manages to be the funniest person on screen and all you get is his voice.

I'd say the cracks start to show in season 4. Michael driving his car into the lake could have been the jump the shark moment.. or at least a sign of things to come. Season 4 is still really good.. but I'd always say season 2-3 are the apex.

Seinfeld is also a real communal kind of show. Watching it live, talking about it the next day with friends, co-workers, or even just watching reruns with friends or family growing up. will give you a different experience than now. The routine in my house was Simpsons reruns at like 6 and 6:30.. then Seinfeld reruns at 7 and 7:30. I watched the show live as well with my whole family. It was just ingrained in my childhood

Older sitcoms are also hard to jump into later. I never got into Cheers. I recognize it's quality, it's praised as one of the best sitcoms, but I couldn't have watched it live and I never watched any reruns. Same with a lot of other classics.

Alright y'all crossing lines for real now. I don't know what the **** y'all talking about.

The only ppl I let pass on not liking Seinfeld are old old OLD ppl or ppl from an alien world that simply can not relate. Other than that I find it hard to bother listening to ppl talk about certain types of comedy when they say they don't like Seinfeld (and especially Curb cuz that's on a whole other level). As already mentioned how can't you get good laughs from a dude like George and his situation from his parents to his relationships to his cheapness. Can't get down with George? Fine then there's Jerry who's basically successful George, a bit more even keeled but still cynical and pessimistic in his own way. Can't relate to Jerry or George? Well you must be an odd type, have no fear there's Kramer. Crazy *** Kramer. Wild completely out there Kramer. Then there's Elaine, wonderful horrible Elaine. She seesaws from George to Jerry from a female perspective. Then all the side characters that show up every ep. The everyday situations that we all go through from work to dating to just walking around your way.

Show remains amazingly great. Highest replay value of any comedy I've come across.

You know, I like Holly Hunter but her being cast in Batman vs Superman doesn't bode well with me... Loved Raising Arizona, The Piano was ok, liked The Firm, Loved The Incredibles, Loved Crash... but this kinda says generic to me... Nothing against her... :rolleyes

I feel like I gotta watch all of Wes' films again. Grand Budapest gave me a new appreciation for his style.

Aye, what time are your tickets?
Gonna check it later tonight. I think...IM2 and Avengers are the only other MCU movies til this 1 that I've been Bart Scott for. Still trying to keep my expectations low.

read your thoughts on cap. the 1st one was average at best. you seemed to really like the 2nd. what would you rate part 1 and part 2 out of 10. was going to wait for dvd release of cap but might reconsider now.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is my favorite show ever
I do not like Seinfeld. Maybe it's the laugh track? Whatever the reason- eh, not for me

With that being said, I will not stand for sugar cookie slander.
Oh. And. Lil Wayne for president (SRs)

2 is an upgrade without a doubt, in my book. It clearly, clearly upgrades from the first film, who had a lot of heart, but maybe not as much "todayness" action-grit that this one does. This has tension, action, and carries along the storylines needed for the past 9 films. It's well acted, well paced, and def is worth an early viewing.

If first Cap was an 8 on heart, story, realness to the era of the 1940's, then Cap 2 is an easy 9 or above. Really, really good. And will hold well over time with the other Marvel films.

Man...I watched Seinfeld as a kid when it was on and laughed. Watched in syndication as a teen and I laughed...now when I watch it was an adult I relate to every single episode. Watching a show and talking about it with people has never made or broke a show to me, I can watch a good show by my damn self and enjoi every min. I watch Seinfeld online whenever I'm bored...there is a list of shows that I will watch until the day I die.

Seinfeld

Curbed

Martin

Simpsons

Family Guy

Wayan's Bros

Tom and Jerry

Looney Tunes

Bachelor Father (which came out in the 50's)

Batman the Animated Series

Every single episode of every one of these shows will always hold my attention, other people's be damned.
