Honestly I don't even find the need to watch the trailer and spoil any possible jokes.

The first one was so funny and original to me, giving them my 10 dollars for the next one is a investment I'm willing to make.

Judging by the mixed reactions it may be a risky investment, but 21 jump street made me laugh harder and louder than any comedy in recent years.

To me, I've already seen enough lulz from Jonah and Channing to know the 2nd one will be entertaining to watch.

Will it be as good as the first? Likely not.
But I have a hard time believing it'll "suck" just because of an underwhelming trailer.

Wedding Crashers trailer didn't really captivate me when it came out. I thought it was going to be corny as hell, didn't even bother watching it at the theaters. Gave it a shot on DVD and I was in tears for 2 hours.

Point being, I don't always rely on trailers for interest. The first one was so good that they've already hooked me for the sequel. If it sucks, I'll have to reevaluate my thinking but I have faith in them based on their great chemistry.

It's bittersweet with Colbert to the Late Show. I'm happy for him to move up, take over Letterman's old job, to see him drop his character and do something different, etc. But I'm bummed because I loved the Colbert Report. In the end, I'm excited to see him make the switch.
Basically.

Wonder if he'll have a partner/announcer/band member he chats with or go completely solo.

I'm not expecting that reaction out of you, or anyone for that matter. This shtick of comedy just isn't for style. No worries man

I agree with Mackie borderline going into Will Smith mode, but the guy seems genuine, and can't fault a guy for being genuine.

Defensive... or responding to a question of why I was turned off by a one-minute clip?

Perspective.

Yeah, no ambitions to see Draft Day. It rubs me the wrong way to make a movie about a recent event for a team that has no notable story....like nothing good came from this draft pick, at least with the Micheal Oher story they ended up winning a SuperBowl, albeit after the movie was released, but they were a notable team even before the Superbowl was won...now if they make a story about how the Franchise got there, that might be interesting with the conveluted history of them, Bmore and Indy.

From Joey Ansah’s who a few yrs ago released Street Fighter Legacy live-action short film. He always wanted to make it something bigger and now he has. They got hte rights from capcom and now created a multi format series called Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.

Premiering next month on Machinima as a 12 part series and then airing on TV, the series is about the coming of age of Ken & Ryu (the two iconic Street Fighter characters). Over the course of the series, we will see how the past, present, and future of all of the Street Fighter characters are intertwined.

RDJ just joined Twitter today, apparently.

@RobertDowneyJr: Talk to me, Twitter. pic.twitter.com/awk4hFjABE

I could see him being an interesting dude to follow.

I just saw a commercial for Transcendence that completely hid Johnny Depp, and pretended like Morgan Freeman was the lead.

Made the movie look 100x more appealing.

Depp has spent way too much time being Jack Sparrow. I just have a hard time taking him seriously anymore.

I had a day off today, planned on getting to the theater to see Captain America... NOPE!

A co-worker had car trouble, so I covered... naturally I stayed up late as hell expecting to get to sleep in and got a text at 8:30 asking to work  :smh:

So I guess I'll see it Tuesday? I've got jury duty at like 8am but hopefully I'm excused early.

Was grand budapest good? Me and my girl are in the mood for a movie but idk what to see. Ive seen capt america and divergent already. Occulus looks corny
